Recently, the Personnel Department informed our unit that it intends to transfer Xiao Wu from our office to the Organization Department for study. Although it is called shadow learning, it is essentially to support the work of the Organization Department, which is a special form of secondment.
This type of follow-up is not a direct transfer of the establishment, nor is there a fixed period of secondment, in short, it is a free provision of labour. In this case, I stood my ground and rejected the leader's suggestion. This also led me to think a little about this decision.
First of all, I did not ask Xiao Wu's opinion. Considering that she has just been working in our unit for more than a year, she may not be clear about the working environment and requirements of the organization department.
Blindly following the class can lead to her not being rewarded for her efforts, and she sacrifices her time and energy in vain. It is likely that such efforts will not be exchanged for the formal establishment of the Organization Department, and it may be necessary to start again after returning to the original unit.
Secondly, I also take into account some of the work that Xiao Wu currently holds in our department, and her contribution in this regard cannot be ignored.
Her departure will bring some difficulties to the work of our department, and as a new employee, she is still learning about the operation of the department. Therefore, I think we should keep Xiao Wu's job in the department to keep the department running normally.
Although my decision may be selfish, I firmly believe that this is the right choice for Xiao Wu. She may not be able to understand it at the moment, but I am sure that she will agree with this decision in the future. So, what do you think about this?
