In the last issue, we introduced the difference between the raw material structure of eco-board and particle board, as well as the difference in production process and equipment. In this issue, we mainly talk about their respective advantages and disadvantages from the point of view, so that we can make better choices.
From the perspective of practicability, the main differences between ecological board and particle board are in the following three aspects:
First, the flatness of the board surface: on the whole, the thickness of the particle board is more uniform and standard than that of the ecological board. Because the surface of the particle board is paved with fine materials, the surface flatness is better, it is easier to stick, and the defective rate of stickers is low.
Due to the use of veneer or plywood paving, the flatness of the ecological board is slightly inferior. There will be some hidden lines and horizontal lines, but if the ecological board adopts the direct lamination process, this situation will be greatly improved, and it is not inferior to the flatness of the particle board.
The ecological board of the direct pasting process has strict requirements for the substrate, and the defective rate is relatively high, once the paste is not good, it will appear carbonized on the surface, so it will greatly increase the cost, and now many factories have given up this process. At present, the market share of composite ecological board and composite ecological board is relatively high. Many brands also use both processes.
Summary: Compared with ordinary ecological boards, the flatness of particle boards is higher, and the surface treatment of finished boards is more beautiful. The cost of this kind of flatness will increase a lot when the ecological board is achieved, and the average terminal price of a board is more than 200.
Second, nail holding power: I actually don't want to talk too much about this, many people on the Internet are discussing this issue, some say that the ecological board has a good nail holding force, and some say that the particle board has a good nail holding force. The nail grip is said to be whether the board eats the nail or not. The strong nail grip makes it easier to install and operate, and the assembled furniture is relatively stronger.
This really doesn't need to be discussed or blackened by each other, and the nail holding force of the ecological board is stronger than that of the particle board. If you don't understand it, think about it, the particle board is that no matter how high the density is, it is also glued together, and although the ecological board is not solid wood, it is also put together by a solid wood strip machine. Don't say that the eco-board has seams, then you still don't understand, the slightly better eco-board is all seamless. If you don't understand it anymore, just find some ** from the Internet and take a look, and you can also do experiments.
Third, environmental protection: whether it is an ecological board or a particle board, no one can say who is more environmentally friendly and who is more bullish. Just one criterion: see what glue is used. Furniture board environmental protection to reach the E1 level on the LK, the highest standard is the E0 level, the current highest standard is the ENF level and a F4 star. There is not much difference in environmental protection when it reaches the E0 level, and you can choose according to your own money bag.
Don't be obsessed with higher environmental standards, as long as the merchant can guarantee that it does achieve E1 level or above, and if you have enough budget, you can ask for more.
Two more words, some people say that the eco-board does not reach the ENF level. What is said about the short curing time of ENF-grade glue, that is the old yellow calendar, and the current technology is enough to achieve it. No matter what plate you buy, it is the least important for the merchant to show the test report.
Well, that's all for this issue. If you want to know more about the plate knowledge, follow me, and we'll see you next time.
