Acidity in diesel fuel in Daze generator sets
The sulfur-containing compounds in the diesel fuel of Daze generator set have a great impact on the working life of the starter. All sulfur-containing compounds are extinguished in the cylinder to form SO2 and SO3, which not only severely corrode components in the high temperature area, but also react with the smooth oil on the cylinder wall, accelerating the formation of paint film and carbon deposits. At the same time, the sulfur oxide in the exhaust gas discharged from the diesel engine will also pollute the environment. Therefore, in order to maintain the environment and prevent the corrosion of the starter, the quality specification of light diesel oil stipulates that the sulfur content is not more than 02%, the sulfur content of vehicle diesel is not more than 0035%。From the perspective of development, with the increasingly stringent requirements for environmental maintenance, the sulfur content of diesel will be further reduced. In order to avoid acid corrosion, the acidity of light diesel oil is also required in the quality specification to be no more than 7mg (KOH) 100ml. The index related to the corrosiveness of diesel fuel in the generator set is also the corrosion of copper sheets, and the specification requirements are not greater than level 1.
The method for measuring sulfur content and copper sheet corrosion is the same as that for gasoline.
Acidity: Indicates that the oil contains acidic substances, which is one of the indicators to ensure that the oil storage and transportation containers and oil-using equipment are not corroded. The detection was stopped by the GB T 258 acidity determination method for gasoline, kerosene, and diesel, and was expressed by the number of mg KOH 100ml required to neutralize the acidic substances in the 100ml test oil.
The acidic substance of the oil is not a monomer compound, but a mixture of acidic substances, so the amount of a measured substance cannot be directly calculated according to the equivalent relationship of the reaction, but is expressed as the number of koh milligrams required to neutralize the acidic substances in 100ml or 1g of test oil.
