The first time you hear and see this name, it will make people feel good. "Nao" means "lake" in Mongolian, and "red alkali" is Chinese, which is red because of iron ions. The combination of two Chinese and one Mongolian is famous, which is a great attraction in itself, not to mention that this unique lake, located in the transition zone between the Loess Plateau and the Inner Mongolia Plateau, at the intersection of the Mu Us Desert and the Ordos Basin, is the largest desert freshwater lake in China, known as the "Pearl of the Desert" and "the sea in the desert".
I have long been curious about the name, its location, its various names, and other affiliations, and I have often marveled at the existence of this sacred lake. I know that this unique and rich natural beauty is because of a bird. The "wetland elf" relict gull became the new owner of the "Zhennao" of Hongjianao, and the remaining more than ten species of birds were much inferior, but it was of far-reaching significance to Hongyanao and made it famous. These rare guests from afar belong to the national first-class protected animals and the world's endangered species. When I was in high school, when I was reading the newspaper, I found that ** reported that there were relict gulls stationed in Shenmu Hongalkali Nao, which became a hot topic for a while, and I was curious to turn over the information through a variety of channels, and I only found very little extended knowledge when I was in school, "Why do these birds migrate to Hongjiao Nao" This question has been entrenched in my heart, and I naturally have the desire to see its charm.
The yearning for the red alkali Nao, not particularly like this bird, but the yearning for the place of the red alkali Nao, thinking of finding a chance to pounce into the arms of the red alkali Nao, to see the beautiful scenery hidden in the northernmost part of Shaanxi, the edge of the Mu Us Desert, I don't know why it has been stranded. When I heard the news about seeing Hongyanao, I couldn't help but imagine the unique "desert" scenery of Hongyanao.
I always thought that I lived in the north with little water, and I was fascinated by the water of Hongyanao, which has a surface area of 100,000 acres, and the world's largest rare and endangered bird, the relict gull. When I officially stepped into this land, I understood why it was called the shining pearl of the desert, and it was only natural that it was given the honorable name of the sacred lake.
The sky is blue, the lake is green, the desert is golden, the grassland is vast, the cattle and sheep are flocked, and the birds are gathered, all of which together constitute the unique natural scenery of the Hongjiao Scenic Area. "My literary friends and I followed the scenic commentator and enjoyed it while walking. Blooming flowers, majestic stone carvings, delicate sandy beaches, it seems that these beauties can't hold me back, and I can't wait to board the yacht. In the blink of an eye, the airship was speeding in the vast lake, and I could no longer suppress the excitement in my heart, like a pair of long-loved lovers, sweetly thrown into the arms of Hongyanao.
My friends who traveled with me were intoxicated by this pearl of the desert, shouting loudly and admiring, and the beautiful water splashed around the hull of the boat, and the water splashed when they stretched out their hands, completely fascinated by the passionate splash. Looking back at the stern of the boat, countless splashes form a waterway with different shades and patterns, like a white ribbon scattered freely in the lake. The waves rising from Tenghu Lake are like the white clouds in the sky, and the airships, ferries, and ferries passing on the lake are just like airplanes in the sky, and the whole blue lake is like the endless sky. Deliberately looking sideways, the lake, boats, and tourists seem to be connected with the sky without gaps, accompanied by the pattern demonstration of the speedboat, presenting different scenery, which is refreshing. When the airship slowed down and wanted to land, the revelers calmed down and looked back at the speeding lake, the blue water of the lake was endless, the ripples were fine, and it was spectacular enough to dare to compete with the vast sea.
Walking on the beach of the "natural bathing beach", tourists are weaving, and they have experienced sand buggy, off-road go-kart, camel riding, horse riding, sandboard zipline, sandmobile and other entertainment activities. Take the sand off-road vehicle to the highest place called "Red Rock Island", the scenery outside the plug is seen at a glance, the lake and the desert depend on each other, the sand dunes and the grassland are lined with each other, the birds play in the water, the visitors enjoy it to the fullest, the horses and camels are dotted in the meantime, it is very spectacular.
There are seven seasonal rivers flowing into the "Zhaojun Tears" at the same time. In the decades after Zhaojun left the fortress, the Han Dynasty maintained harmonious and friendly relations with the Xiongnu.
Zhaojun has a tear, and the red alkali is a lake. The blue lake stretches from the beach to the sky. Where the lake and the sky meet, fly to a certain height and look down, and the location of the lake, which itself has color, will surely look at the onlooker like a sparkling eye. You see, the quiet lake is like a mirror in the desert, the water is vast, the waves are rippling, and the lake surface at this moment is the most gentle and beautiful. All kinds of freely flying birds flutter, sometimes loitering, sometimes spreading their wings, and other scenery on the island become a unique decoration of Hongyanao. What Hongyanao has is not only a color, but also a broad spirit, infinite life, and a broad mind.
I never thought that on the edge of the Mu Wu Desert, a pool of clear and crystal clear water is embedded in the red desert, not the infinite vast sea, there is already the spirit of "the sea is inclusive, there is tolerance", not the king of the lake, there is the magnificent beauty of "the desert is lonely and the sun sets on the long river". If you look closely, there are trees, birds, cattle and horses, villages and ...... along the lake and on the islandWhat a fairyland on earth! The "soil" here contains alkaline, and some people have set up a field to boil alkali here very early, because the alkaline color is red, and there is a lake, so it is called red alkali Nao. I think this may be the best explanation for the origin of the name of Hongyanao, and it is also the reason why it has continued to this day.
You see, the typical scenery outside the Seychelles and the regional customs of the Mongolian and Han cultures are all around. The vast lake, the golden desert, the verdant grassland, the clear lake, the lush trees, the fat cattle and sheep, the dancing birds, the speeding boats, the swimming fish ......In the face of these beautiful scenery, thoughts are like the wind, wandering in the vast and boundless red alkali Nao.
Legend has it that the water in this water is the tears shed by Wang Zhaojun. Wang Zhaojun, who was about to marry the Xiongnu for the sake of good neighborliness and relatives, was about to leave the Han family territory and enter the Hu land, and when he was resting halfway, he looked back at the Central Plains with deep affection, thinking that he would leave the Han and enter the Hu until he died, and marry Hu Han Shan Yu, who had extremely different life Xi habits. This move moved the Queen Mother, so she sent her seven fairies down to earth, and the fairies each held a ribbon and spread out from seven different directions, so that there were seven seasonal rivers flowing into the "Zhaojun Tears" at the same time. In the decades after Zhaojun left the fortress, the Han Dynasty maintained harmonious and friendly relations with the Xiongnu.
According to historical records, the real time of the formation of red alkali is in 1929, before it is about 2000 acres of water surface, because the place contains a large amount of red alkali and water, the ground is rust colored, so it was originally called "red alkali wetland", with the precipitation and groundwater continuous recharge, the water accumulation increases year by year, the water surface gradually reaches about 100,000 acres, and it has become the largest inland lake in Shaanxi Province. The surface of the lake is roughly triangular in shape, and there are seven seasonal rivers flowing along the shore, and it is known as the "lungs" and "kidneys" of Yulin and Ordos.
On the way back, stop again more than 20 meters of graceful Zhaojun statue, holding the pipa, towering into the sky, full of confusion, thinking of the moment of the poignant legend, the moment seems to be completely crossed, and Zhaojun thousands of years ago affectionate dialogue. What a feat!
Appreciate all the way, and keep thinking about enriching the soul. I think that the beautiful and moving legend is more in line with the temperament of Hongyanao, or that the Hongyanao with a mysterious veil is more interesting, and I also think that only a sacred lake like Hongyanao is worthy of such a moving legend. Clear water, blue sky, white clouds, yellow sand, trees, grass, tourists, stone carvings, ......There are many places where the beautiful scenery gathered in this way can be seen in the land of the motherland, and what you see in Hongyanao is unique. Meet the red alkali of Meihu Lake, zero distance from the wetland elves, and go on a romantic trip;Dialogue with Zhaojun, the feelings of family and country arise spontaneously;Date with the steppe and listen to passionate idylls;Merge with the beautiful scenery and feel the magic ...... nature
Let's take a trip to Hongjianao!
