The war in the Middle East is spreading, and Israel is fighting on multiple fronts

Recently, Israeli Defense Minister Yoaf Gallant admitted that Israel is in the midst of a war on multiple fronts. He noted that Israel is facing attacks from Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank, Iraq, Yemen and Iran, and is operating in six theaters. Although he did not directly name Iran, we can surmise that the only one who did not act was Iran. Iran has threatened Israel to pay for the recent bombing of an Iranian officer by the Israeli army, but so far Iran has not taken any action. It can be seen that the war situation in the Middle East is expanding, and even an anti-Israeli alliance has been formed. However, there is no need for Israel to complain here, because they are reaping the consequences. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict began as a clash between Hamas and Israel. But from the very beginning of the conflict, Israel made a huge mistake: it forcibly launched an indiscriminate attack on the entire Gaza Strip, despite the opposition of the international community. Although the United States supports Israel in eliminating Hamas, it is also very unoptimistic about the Israeli army's operation in Gaza, especially the indiscriminate strikes.

Not because the United States cares about the civilian population of Gaza in particular, but because it is difficult for such an apparent disregard for international law not to raise questions from the international community, or even to intervene. In addition, Israel is constantly challenging the bottom line of the international community, blockading the entire Gaza Strip and vigorously restricting the access of humanitarian relief supplies. In contrast, in the early days of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Russia, risking the failure of its initial offensive, adopted a partial ceasefire and opened humanitarian corridors. Had it not been for these ceasefire actions taken by Russia, it would have been difficult for Ukraine to hold its ground later. Israel's current actions are highly controversial in the international community. Israel's series of actions have directly led to the current situation in which the Israeli army is surrounded on seven sides. Yemen's Houthi operations against Israeli ships in the Red Sea are precisely because Israel is intercepting humanitarian aid. The Houthis said they would continue to act as long as Israel continued to intercept humanitarian aid. In addition, Iranian armed forces in Syria and Iraq, Lebanese and Pakistani pro-Pakistani parties and other organizations have close ties with Iran. Iran has expressed its opposition to Israel's actions, saying that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict could escalate or expand as long as Israel continues.

Israel must realize that its current predicament is the result of its own actions. If Israel had acted more cautiously, it would not have caused the wrath of the international community and would not have found itself in its current predicament. It is worth noting that the current anti-Israeli alliance has taken shape, and fighting has occurred in seven battlefields in the Middle East, and the situation may further expand and even trigger war in the entire Middle East. If this happens, the risks will be enormous. Recent reports suggest that even US military bases in the Middle East have been attacked in support of Israel. This shows that the current situation in the Middle East is tense, and even the US military is involved in it. If the situation continues to expand, there is little chance that the international community will find a solution through peaceful means. Moreover, considering Israel's actions in Gaza, excessive military operations not only endanger the safety of civilians but also exacerbate the situation in the Middle East, so Israel must act cautiously to avoid further deterioration of the situation. If the war in the Middle East continues to spread, there will be a serious threat to the security of the military and civilians there.

The root cause lies in Israel's imposition of drastic action in defiance of the dissuasion of the international community, and the fact that the United States, out of selfish interest in supporting Israel, refuses to accept the international community's call for a ceasefire in Israel. In such cases, they must bear significant responsibility for the consequences that result.
