1 Trait description

Yellowish to brown transparent liquid, density 1088g cm3 (25), viscosity 110mpas(25℃);It has a special compound odor and is easily soluble in general polyurethane raw materials such as polyether and polyester polyols.

2 Unique performance

WCAT-W2 is a high-efficiency catalyst developed for one-component moisture-curing polyurethane (sealant, coating, adhesive, elastomer, hot-melt adhesive, pitch paving, ground waterproofing, etc.) relying on the basic principle of cross-linking and curing of moisture in the ambient air and isocyanate and siloxane in one-component polyurethane, which has better performance than the widely used dibutyltin dilaurate (T-12), with the following characteristics:

In winter, the surface dries and cures quickly. To overcome the disadvantage of the slow curing of organotin catalyst at low temperature and low humidity in winter, the curing time of the same amount is about twice that of organotin.

Low usage. The overall amount of addition is at 003-0.5%, generally speaking, it saves 1 3 compared to T-12, following the basic principle of less summer and more winter.

The drying reaction is smooth and orderly, and the curing surface is smooth and free of bulging.

Stable storage. The material is completely dehydrated and stored in a sealed state for more than one year (the equipment technology of each plant is different, and the storage stability test must be carried out before mass production).

3 Fields of application

WCAT-W2 is used in one-component moisture-curing polyurethane sealants, adhesives, elastomers, hot melt adhesives, etc., and is widely used in stadium laying (silicon PU stadium), building waterproofing, flooring, automotive sealing, building sealing, leather finishing, material bonding and other fields.

4 Instructions for use

It is recommended to add isocyanate after prepolymerization with polyols;Or to improve production efficiency, add a very small amount (usually ppm) during the prepolymerization reaction, and add the remaining amount after the prepolymerization is complete. It is not recommended to add all of the prepolymerization at one time in the pre-polymerization process, so as to avoid the degradation of gel or quality caused by the violent heating of the prepolymerization reaction. Regardless of the method of addition, be sure to conduct a feasibility test before use.

5 Specification storage

HDPE plastic drum, 25 200kg drum. Store in a dry and cool warehouse, away from sunlight and rain. Shelf life 12 months unopened. The color will gradually darken during storage and will not affect the quality. After expiration, if the catalytic activity test is qualified, it can still be used normally.
