Zhang Shaogang, vice president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, introduced at the closing press conference that according to incomplete statistics, more than 200 cooperation agreements and intent agreements were signed during the first Chain Expo, involving an amount of more than 150 billion yuan. All four goals have been achieved perfectly.
The chain expo is the world's first chain as the theme of the expo, with the theme of "linking the world and creating the future together", the first chain expo has a total exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, and sets up five industrial chains and chain service exhibition areas, including smart car chain, green agriculture chain, clean energy chain, digital technology chain, and healthy life chain. Zhang Shaogang introduced that among the 515 exhibitors, overseas exhibitors accounted for 26%, covering 55 countries and regions, American and European companies accounted for 36% of the total number of overseas exhibitors, and the number of exhibitors from countries jointly building the "Belt and Road" accounted for nearly half of the total number of overseas exhibitors. The number of visitors reached 150,000, including more than 80,000 buyers and professional visitors. During the first Chain Expo, more than 360 supporting docking and exchange activities were held by relevant parties, with more than 15,000 people participating, and 23 achievements such as research reports, declarations and standards were released.
Zhang Shaogang said that the goals of the first Chain Expo have been perfectly achieved, mainly in the following four aspects: First, it has promoted the connection of upstream, midstream and downstream. The first Chain Expo has built an open international exchange and cooperation platform for Chinese and foreign enterprises in different links of the industrial chain. The enterprises in the five major industrial chains and the first-chain service exhibition area all belong to the same "chain". Many exhibitors said that in the past, most of the exhibitors around them were potential competitors, but at the first Chain Expo, most of the exhibitors around them were potential partners. I can find the upstream and downstream enterprises of the ** chain that I have always wanted to contact but have no opportunity to contact in the near booth, especially the head enterprises. About ninety percent of the exhibitors believe that the first Chain Expo has effectively promoted their cooperation with upstream and downstream enterprises and with ** chain service enterprises.
Second, it has promoted the integration of large and medium-sized enterprises. 53 of the world's top 500 enterprises, 57 of China's top 500 enterprises, 25 of China's top 500 private enterprises and a large number of "specialized, special and new", "* champion" enterprises and "small and fine" small and medium-sized enterprises from various countries participated in the exhibition. Promote the integration and development of large and medium-sized enterprises. A number of small and medium-sized enterprises in the digital technology chain have reached cooperation intentions with the vehicle manufacturers of the intelligent vehicle chain. 26 enterprises and scientific research institutes, including the State Grid, signed a contract to jointly build a modern industrial chain of new power systems.
The third is to promote the collaboration of production, education, research and application. The first Chain Expo not only invited Chinese and foreign enterprises to participate in the exhibition, but also opened to scientific research institutes and universities. More than 600 researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and many universities and tens of thousands of college students from related majors actively watched and participated in the exhibition, saying that the first Chain Expo would well integrate scientific research achievements and application scenarios, and promote the collaborative innovation of production, education, research and application.
Fourth, it has promoted the interaction between Chinese and foreign enterprises. At the first Chain Expo, Chinese and foreign exhibitors actively demonstrated the results of the cooperation of the industrial chain. 83.2% of the exhibitors believe that the first Chain Expo has effectively promoted the international cooperation of the industrial chain.
