Zhang Jingwang's champion modeling work is creatively inspired by the Chinese strange book "Classic of Mountains and Seas" Rui Beast (bó yí), which was originally a monster in ancient Chinese mythology, docile on the outside, but bold and fearless on the inside. The final works are developed in the form of traditional Chinese hand-pushed wavy hairstyle, adding unique forehead side face bangs to highlight the metaverse style, and the whole hairstyle is a subtle combination of traditional Chinese culture and future technology.

As a new generation of Chinese hair designers, Zhang Jingwang, who is only 28 years old, studied under Fu Jun, the founder of Fu Jun, a leading figure in China's hairdressing industry, and has participated in the L'Oréal Pro Global Hair Designer Competition for five consecutive years. The moment I became the overall champion of China, it meant that I had to create a new creative project for the Paris final in just four weeks. Before going to Paris, Mr. Fu Jun took me to visit a famous Chinese hairdresser, looking for the source of traditional Chinese hairdressing, inheriting the spirit of Chinese beauty craftsmen, and combining traditional culture, fashion trends and future hairdressing with exquisite skills. The professionalism of the tournament gave me multiple practical and aesthetic training, and then during the 2 weeks of preparation, I practiced the final works every day, and the 6 national champions who entered the final were very talented and strong, and I am really honored to win the global championship of this competition. ”

The judging panel is made up of internationally influential industry leaders such as L'Oréal Pro global colour expert Min Kim, celebrity stylist Derick Monroe, hair designer Charlie Le Mindu and 3D digital artist Samy La Crapule.
