A08 version. Thank you to the procuratorate for your 'support' and help us get the ...... of our hard-earned moneyRecently, migrant worker Zhang Moumou made a special trip to the Liangzihu District Procuratorate of Ezhou City to express his gratitude to the procuratorate for helping him and his co-workers recover the arrears of wages.

On November 21, the prosecutor who undertook the undertaking introduced that in February 2022, after a construction company in Wuhan undertook a project on Liangzi Island in Ezhou City, the company's legal representative, Zhou Moumou, orally hired 13 migrant workers, including Zhang, to be responsible for working as cement workers at the construction site. However, after the completion of the project, the company owed a total of 32320,000 yuan salary.

Although the Liangzihu District Labor Inspection Brigade issued a letter of instruction to the company in February this year to correct the labor and social security inspection period, ordering it to pay within the time limit, the company still did not pay within the time limit. Zhang Moumou and 13 other people repeatedly asked for it without success.

In April this year, after learning about the relevant situation, the members of the Qingfeng team of the Liangzihu District Procuratorate's "Qiaofa Xinqiao" quickly conducted a comprehensive study and judgment with the prosecution department of the procuratorate, and guided Zhang Moumou and others to complain to the prosecution department. After the prosecution department of the court accepted the case, it was found that Zhou's behavior of arrears of wages to migrant workers was suspected of a crime, so it transferred the clue to the criminal prosecution department. In May of the same year, the Liangzihu District Procuratorate issued a "Notice of Case Filing" to **, and the public security organs filed a case on suspicion of Zhou Moumou's refusal to pay labor remuneration.

In the face of the prosecutor's explanation of the law, Zhou Moumou was very resistant at first, saying that he could not do anything to pay the arrears of wages due to the company's business problems. After patient persuasion, Zhou Moumou took the initiative to repay some migrant workers' wages.

In September this year, 13 migrant workers still had more than 20 yuan in labor remuneration unpaid. After learning of the situation, in order to help the migrant workers recover the full wages, the Liangzihu District Procuratorate organized three representatives of migrant workers including Zhang Moumou and Zhou Moumou, the legal representative of the company involved in the case, to carry out public hearings, and invited the police, grid members, and three hearing officers to participate. At the hearing, the prosecutor in charge interpreted the relevant laws and regulations, and further understood the demands of the migrant workers and the current economic situation of the companies involved.

Under the mediation of multiple parties, Zhou Moumou promised to pay labor remuneration in installments and signed a payment agreement on the spot. At present, Zhou Moumou has paid all the wages owed in accordance with the content of the agreement, and the public security organs have withdrawn the case in accordance with the law.
