In tonight's 20th round of the Premier League, Arsenal challenged Fulham away, it was really a tense and exciting game!It was just the beginning of the game and Arsenal gave us a dream start. In the 5th minute, Martinellina's long-distance run was directly exciting. His shot after cutting inside was saved by Leno, but Saka was clever enough to score from the spot to give Arsenal the leadAt that moment, I almost jumped up from the couch, and my whole person was filled with excitement and joy.
But it didn't last long, and in the 29th minute Fulham showed their counter-attacking edge. Starting from the break at the back, they launched a quick attack, Willian's through ball, Kellney's cross, Jimenez's outflanking goal, this series of movements was extremely fluid. In this way, Fulham pulled one back and the score became 1-1. I have to admit that Fulham was a goal that worked together perfectly and even though I am an Arsenal fan, I have to applaud this goal.
There were a number of bright moments on both sides during the game. In the 14th minute, Jimenez's volley, Raya firmly held the ball in his arms, showing the strength of the Arsenal goalkeeper. In the 19th minute, Willian's shot almost went through the net, but the ball grazed the post and went off the line, and my heart almost jumped out at that moment. In the 21st minute, De Códovar Reed's fall to the ground, and the referee did not indicate it, making the atmosphere on the field even more tense.
In the 33rd minute, Martinelli's pass and Nketiah's scramble showed Arsenal's attack, but unfortunately it was not converted into a goal. In the 42nd minute, Arsenal's right side coordinated exquisitely, and Martinelli kicked the goal, which was a pity. Four minutes of stoppage time ended at half-time and the two sides drew 1-1.
The starting line-ups of both sides are also worth mentioning. Arsenal's Raya, Ben White, Saliba, Gabriel and others have been very good and the midfield and forward line have been quite well coordinated. On the Fulham side, players such as Leno, Bassy, Adarabioyo, and Castagne also showed good strength, especially their counter-attacks, which were really unstoppable.
Overall, it was a really good matchup. As a die-hard Arsenal fan, even though it's 1-1 now, I still have a lot of confidence in our team. In the second half, I believe Arsenal will show a stronger attack and hopefully they can take their chances and win this crucial game!Come on, Arsenal!
