It is often said that Zhuzhou is a city full of love. For example, this summer, this newspaper reported on the stories of some takeaway brothers enjoying the cool summer at the outdoor labor service station of Jianning Station.

Time passes, and the story of love opens a new chapter in winter. Not long ago, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions released the list of "Most Beautiful Trade Union Outdoor Worker Service Sites" in 2023, and Zhuzhou has 7 "Most Beautiful Post Stations" on the list. Relying on the city's Jianning Station, community service centers and other resources, these stations are upgraded and built to serve outdoor workers, so that takeaway brothers, couriers and other groups have a good place to rest after hard work.

Up to now, the city has established a total of 358 service stations for outdoor workers of trade unions, serving more than 700,000 employees. In winter, we also go to some "post stations" to visit and feel the warmth of a city.

In winter, "go into the house" to eat and rest.

Busy delivery people find a sense of belonging.

At 2 p.m. on December 16, a cold wind gusted.

After delivering the last fast food, Lao Chen, the delivery person, found a suitable place to park his small electric car and walked into the Tiexi Jianning Post Station on Taishan Road.

This is one of the outdoor worker service stations in our city, where anyone can meet their needs such as free hot meals, charging, reading and Xi, and resting.

Lao Chen was a frequent visitor here, so I saw him take out a lunch box from the bag he brought and put it in the microwave to heat it. While waiting, he fetched himself a large jug full of warm water and found a chair to sit down.

Lao Chen, 37 years old this year, used to work in a night snack restaurant, and last year he started working as a delivery boy to subsidize his family.

Since we had these service stations, we all have a place to rest and stay. Lao Chen said that the household appliances at each service station can be used for his own use, giving him a sense of belonging like home.

The delivery man often has to rest at the "wrong time", and every time Lao Chen finishes his work, he basically has to be around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, and his physical strength has been somewhat "hollowed out" at this time.

During his breaks, he often goes to Jianning Post Station to "recharge" - whether it is for his mobile phone or himself. "We often have to play **, the power of the mobile phone is consumed quickly, every time we come here, we charge the mobile phone as soon as possible. Occasionally, Mr. Chen said, he would take a nap or chat with other companions.

There are many such outdoor worker service stations in Zhuzhou, and it is very convenient for us to go close to each other. Lao Chen said.

It is reported that up to now, the city has established a total of 358 trade union outdoor worker service sites, including 12 "most beautiful stations" of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, serving more than 700,000 employees.

In the process of construction of each service site, the city also provides services such as free clinics, psychological counseling, and legal aid according to the conditions of each service site and the needs of outdoor workers.

For example, the outdoor worker service station of the Second Workers' Cultural Palace of Zhuzhou City, in addition to facilitating the daily rest of outdoor workers, also provides free public welfare training such as badminton, hard pen calligraphy, and Tai Chi fitness for citizensThe Shaoxingcheng Labor Union Outdoor Worker Service Station in Lusong District also regularly organizes and carries out services such as dispute mediation, employment training and exchanges.

Make the most of unused space.

Tailor-made service sites.

Once, how to let sanitation workers eat well and rest well in a short rest time was a major issue that the urban management department of our city has always wanted to solve. At that time, it was not an easy task to find some idle resource space in the city.

Nowadays, relying on resources such as rest points for sanitation workers, bus terminals, and street community service centers, the city has set up special outdoor worker service stations for sanitation workers, drivers and other groups according to local conditions.

Every morning from 6 to 8:30 a.m., at the outdoor worker service station of the Sanitation Workers' Union in Lukou District, sanitation workers in work clothes come in and out one after another, and there are chats and laughter from time to time.

Pushing open the door, the aroma in the service station is fragrant, and all kinds of loving breakfasts such as rice noodles and noodles can be enjoyed free of charge by more than 80 sanitation workers in the jurisdiction.

At this site, which mainly provides targeted services for sanitation workers, there are not only free services such as direct drinking water, charging, and hot meals, but also equipped with facilities and equipment such as air conditioning, wireless networking, and emergency medicine kits, so as to solve the problems of rest, charging, and dining for sanitation workers.

In the periphery of the city, in order to solve the problems of difficult bathing and eating for freight drivers, the city has also built a "driver's home" at Liling service area and other stations in the Zhuzhou section of the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway in accordance with local conditions.

At the outdoor laborer service station near the Ronghuaju Community in Tianyuan District, the row of seats in front of the door is one of the most common places for busy takeaways and couriers to rest in the surrounding area.

The Taiyuan community, where it is located, is one of the earliest residential communities in Tianyuan District, with a high population density and schools, hospitals and other institutions nearby.

This service station was converted from a vacant utility room. In order to make this service station better meet the "needs and demands" of residents and outdoor workers, in the early stage of construction, the staff fully solicited suggestions from all parties on the site selection and facilities of the project, and set up a free charging area for electric vehicles here, and set up a public toilet in the service point, which not only meets the needs of outdoor workers, but also benefits the surrounding residents.

Serving outdoor workers.

What else can we do.

Is it possible to build a few 24-hour service stations that allow us to take a nap at night? In the interview, some takeaway guys also said that they are sometimes busy in the middle of the night, and compared with rental houses, they also hope that some service stations can achieve temporary overnight stays, and they can also operate by renting bedding and beds.

The reporter learned that at present, the opening time of the vast majority of outdoor labor service stations in our city is different, and a small number of them are open until about 11 o'clock in the evening. However, with the expansion of groups such as online car-hailing drivers and delivery workers, how to make the service "not closed" 24 hours a day is also one of the needs that these groups are paying more and more attention to.

At present, some cities are promoting the construction of 24-hour service stations through co-construction and sharing, "digital post stations" and other methods. For example, in Wuhan, Hubei Province, through the joint construction of Yunfan Love Station with street merchants, etc., outdoor workers are provided with milk powder, bedding, emergency medicine kits and other materials to meet the needs of surrounding small traders and police on duty for nearby restTaizhou, Jiangsu Province, by promoting the informatization transformation of service stations, outdoor workers can scan the code to "enter the station" after registering their mobile phones, and realize 24-hour operation.

It is reported that from June last year, the city plans to build 1,000 homes for workers in new employment forms in about three years to meet the service needs of all kinds of workers more accurately and efficiently.
