On a weekend, I met up with a few friends to climb a mountain at an altitude of more than 1,500 meters. At first, the six of us took great strides and set off with confidence. But soon, the steepness and length of the trail made our steps heavy. Some people are in front, others are behind, and another friend and I are gradually losing our strength.
