When you think of special forces, who do you think of?Is it the iron-blooded and loyal "Chinese hunter" in "Rushing Out of the Amazon", or the Xu Sanduo who does not abandon or give up in "Soldier Assault"?is the omnipotent Leng Feng in "Wolf Warrior", or the "Jiaolong Commando" ...... who lives and dies in "Operation Red Sea".

In the past two years, under the influence of various film and television literary works, you can always see all kinds of special forces, they are omnipotent, often a small team of people go deep behind enemy lines, and complete tasks arduously, which is also loved by many people.

Whether it comes from life or an illusory conception, these heroic images on the screen make everyone full of curiosity about the real-life version of special forces. How does a real special soldier become a special soldier?Although the special forces in real life are not as exaggerated as in film and television dramas, parachuting, diving, secret infiltration, long-range sniping... This mode of operation in the sky and the sea is indeed unique to the special operations forces.

In fact, the concept of special operations entered our country in the 70s of the last century, but it was not until the 90s that this concept was rolled out within the scope of our army; after 10 years of experience in southern Xinjiang, various military regions of the People's Liberation Army summed up their combat experience and set up their own special operations units on the basis of the original elite reconnaissance units.

The formation of the first special brigade in 1988 marked the formal establishment of the modernized special forces of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. But the first special forces of the PLA were formed precisely after the 1991 Gulf War, and their predecessors were earlier reconnaissance units.

By the end of the 90s of the 20 th century, it was estimated that each of the seven military regions had an army special operations brigade or special reconnaissance brigade with a number of about 1,000 people. Over the next 15 years, these units were expanded, with other Army special forces formed (including some small female units) and the Navy, Air Force, and Rocket Forces forming their own special forces.

The special forces of the Chinese People's Liberation Army have:

The "Northeast Tigers", an army special force subordinate to the Northern Theater of the Chinese People's Liberation Army; The "Ringing Arrow" Special Operations Brigade of the Army Special Brigade (formerly known as the "Oriental Excalibur" Special Brigade of the Beijing Military Region) under the Central Theater of the Chinese People's Liberation Army; The "Xuefeng Brigade", an army special unit under the Western Theater of the Chinese People's Liberation Army; The army special reconnaissance unit "Feilong", which belongs to the Eastern Theater of the Chinese People's Liberation Army; The "Sword of South China", a special army unit belonging to the Southern Theater of the Chinese People's Liberation Army; The army special forces "Eagle", which belongs to the Central Theater of the Chinese People's Liberation Army; The army special forces "Southwest Cheetah", which belongs to the Western Theater of the Chinese People's Liberation Army; The special forces "Jiaolong" commando unit belonging to the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy;Special forces "Thor" commandos and "Blue Sky Sword" belonging to the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army .

And to train these special forces, there is also a special academy - the Army Special Operations Academy!

In 1999, on the basis of the original PLA Physical Education Academy and some departments of the PLA International Relations College, a brand-new PLA Special Operations College was established. In 2017, according to the order of the army's first organ, the school was reorganized into the Army Special Operations College.

The Army Special Operations College was established in July 2017 by the merger of the former Special Operations College and the Guilin Comprehensive Training Base, with the establishment level of deputy army.

The original Special Operations College is located in Tianhe District, Guangzhou, the site originated from the People's Liberation Army Sports School established in July 1953, and in 2011, the reconnaissance and special operations major of the School of International Relations was transferred from Nanjing to Guangzhou, and merged with the military sports comprehensive training base to form the Special Operations College.

Guilin Comprehensive Training Base, formerly known as Guilin Army Academy, originated from the Third Branch of the Military and Political University of the Second Field Army established in 1949, moved to Guilin in 1958, renamed Guilin Army Academy in 1986, and merged with the former Guangzhou Military Region Communication Training Brigade in 2005 to form the Guangzhou Military Region Comprehensive Training Base.

At present, the campus of the Special Operations College spans Guangxi, Guangdong and Hunan provinces, and has a total of eight camps in Guilin, Guangzhou, Hengyang and Zhuzhou. At the same time, the Special Operations College is also one of the few colleges that trains talents for the army, navy and air force at the same time

The first three are oriented to the army for the first time and are mainly serving in the special operations and reconnaissance detachments of the field troopsThe primary command of the Airborne Forces is oriented to the Airborne Forces of the Air Force; The Marine Junior commands the Marine Corps facing the Navy.

The Army Special Operations College is the only institution of higher education in the field of special operations and intelligence reconnaissance in the whole army, which trains officers and non-commissioned officers in the fields of special operations and intelligence reconnaissance for the army, marines, and air force airborne troops, and undertakes the task of cultivating personnel in the fields of sniper operations and military sports for the whole army.

Therefore, students who like special forces and have a great yearning for a different military career must not miss the Army Special Operations Academy!

Special forces are also guaranteed by relevant treatment, and subsidies ranging from 800 to 1,400 yuan per month are issued according to the level of special operationsSubsidy standard for participating in diving: 400 yuan per hour; The subsidy standard for participating in the escort: 25 yuan for long-distance voyages and 16 yuan for short-term voyagesThe subsidy standard for participating in parachute landing is 150 yuan.

Therefore, although the special forces will be very difficult, there will also be corresponding security treatment. It's just that the special forces will have relatively high requirements for physical fitness, and students need to pay attention to:
