The upgrading of the school was officially included in the "14th Five-Year Plan" of Fujian Province for the establishment of colleges and universities, and became one of the two higher vocational colleges in Fujian Province to be upgraded to undergraduate universities during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. We continued to deepen the reform of the personnel system, implemented the 125 "Jiageng Scholars" talent plan, adhered to the use of talents in an eclectic manner, empowered the new development pattern with more dynamic talent introduction, introduced 81 high-level talents and Taiwanese talents, and was approved as a national vocational education teacher innovation team. We have compiled and implemented the "Action Plan for Serving the Integrated Development of Fujian and Taiwan", introduced Taiwan teachers, expanded cooperation with Taiwan banks, Taiwan enterprises, Taiwan schools, and Taiwan institutes, and recruited Taiwan students again after 67 years in the history of the school, and had the courage to take the lead in the integration of Fujian and Taiwan and the integration of Xiamen and Jin. We continue to deepen blue cooperation to help build a community with a shared future for the ocean, hold international academic conferences such as the 14th International Conference on Environmental Science and Development and the 12th International Conference on Clean and Green Energy, and the teaching standards of aquaculture technology have been selected into the Tanzania Teaching Standards Development Project, and 26 countries such as Brazil and Venezuela have visited the school for advanced study in the marine field.
