Israeli semiconductor company Tower Semiconductor has resubmitted its proposal to build a 40nm and 65nm chip manufacturing facility in India, according to people familiar with the matter. For now, the new partner of Tower Semiconductor may be India's Jindalai Group, but Jindalai Group executives did not disclose further details, only confirming that a semiconductor proposal is being developed.
