On December 15, the company's annual output of 600,000 tons of caprolactam industry chain relocation and upgrading and transformation development project was completed across the board, and the first start-up was successful, marking the completion and operation of the world's largest single set of caprolactam production and R&D base with leading technology, Sinopec has independent intellectual property rights and industry-leading new generation of caprolactam green complete sets of new technology for the first time to achieve industrial application, and the downstream polyamide new material extension supporting construction of an annual output of 150,000 tons of polyamide plant has been successfully started. In the past year, the company has developed 14 new products and new grades, produced 140,000 tons, and successfully established the Hunan Thermoplastic Elastomer Technology Innovation Center.
The company is the first in China to realize the industrial production of green thermoplastic rubber SEPS (hydrogenated styrene-isoprene copolymer). The project team of the company's resin department "Development of a new process for the synthesis of solid epoxy resin" studied the etherification and polycondensation process of solid epoxy resin, and the influencing factors of raw material bisphenol A residues, and developed a new process for the production of solid epoxy resin, with low reaction temperature, less side reactions, high alkali concentration, significant reduction in wastewater and COD (chemical demand) emissions, and a decrease of more than 10 kg in product monomer consumption, which meets the needs of industrial development. The technology of this project, which won the first prize of scientific and technological progress this year, will be applied in the construction project of high-performance epoxy resin plant to promote the high-quality development of the company's epoxy resin industry chain.
