Guangqi Honda's "carbon neutrality" strategy released the first phase of 1,800 acres of mangrove protection at the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show, committed to ecological restoration, and joined hands with more forces to jointly protect the green home, which is the direction that Guangqi Honda has been working towards. As Honda's most advanced electric vehicle production line in the world, Guangqi Honda's new electric vehicle plant introduces a number of the most advanced production technologies in Honda's global system, and adopts digital intelligent vehicle manufacturing methods to achieve 100% automatic welding, gluing and paintingAs a green park, the new plant realizes the whole process of environmentally friendly and low-carbon production, not only reduces heavy metal emissions by 100%, but also uses innovative energy-saving ideas, adopts industry-leading high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar panels, and makes full use of the factory floor and parking lot area for photovoltaic power generation, with a total installed capacity of up to 24MW, achieving an annual power generation of about 20 million kWh, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 16,100 tons per year.
