Xu Peiyuan comprehensively explained the significance of the "Belt and Road" in political, economic and cultural development from the background of the "Belt and Road" era, the principle of joint construction, the framework of ideas, the focus of cooperation, the cooperation mechanism, why the "Belt and Road" is needed and how to do a good job in the "Belt and Road". The content shared is comprehensive and rich, focused, and combines theory and practice, which is highly pertinent, timely and operable, which allows teachers and students to further deepen their understanding and understanding of the Belt and Road Initiative, and has strong guidance for the college to better carry out international exchange activities and deeply integrate into the construction of the "Belt and Road" in the future.
It is understood that Xu Peiyuan is the editor-in-chief of the "Maritime Silk Road Blue Book", and concurrently serves as the executive director of the China International Society, the executive director of the China Asia-Pacific Society, and the vice president of the Fujian Provincial Economic Association. In 2013, he was selected into the New Century Excellent Talent Support Program of the Ministry of Education. Now engaged in international economics, Asia-Pacific economy, "The Belt and Road" economic and trade cooperation research, presided over 3 national social science projects, 8 provincial and ministerial major key projects, published more than 60 articles in CSSCI journals, published 3 academic monographs. He was invited to participate in the "Belt and Road" symposium, summit forum, and global think tank summit hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office, the State Council Information Office and the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, and delivered speeches.
