The reservoir capacity of Tangxia Reservoir is 3.84 million cubic meters, the irrigated paddy field area reaches 7,200 mu, and the irrigation area covers 17 administrative villages and 8 communities in Longquan Street and Zhongshan Street, involving the irrigation water problem of more than 40,000 rural households. During the visit and investigation, Liu Lingfei learned that due to the impact of disrepair, the water storage of the Tangxia Reservoir is decreasing, the roads are rugged and potholes, and the slope protection silt is accumulating. At this year's two sessions, she brought the "Proposal on the Quality Improvement and Transformation of Tangxia Reservoir and Surrounding Facilities", and put forward suggestions such as dredging to increase the volume of water storage, road hardening, and slope protection, so as to contribute to the leadership and development of Xintian's "large-scale, mechanized, and ecological" modern agricultural road.
Because 90% of the irrigation area of Tangxia Reservoir is the mode of tobacco rice rotation, and tobacco rice rotation is also the main agricultural industry in our county, this project will better guarantee the flue-cured tobacco production and grain production in Longquan Street and Zhongshan Street, and also widen the area of the irrigation area. The construction of roads and the dredging of reservoirs can also change the current appearance of the reservoir and increase the storage capacity of the reservoir. Liu Lingfei said.

In 2019, Liu Lingfei established 1,230 acres of land for the development of Fujun agriculture in Hunan Province, actively developing high-quality rice, pepper, soybean and corn compound planting and other industries, and providing cooperatives, family farms, and large grain growers with one-stop "nanny-style" full custody services from seedling raising, machine farming, machine cutting, machine harvesting, and flying plant protection to rice protection, drying, warehousing, and processing, so as to promote the leverage of small farmers to connect with the big market.
