At 9:30 a.m., the escort missile destroyer Zibo, the missile frigate Jingzhou, and the comprehensive supply ship Qiandaohu slowly berthed at the pier one after another. The Navy of the Eastern Theater held a ceremony at the wharf to welcome the triumphant departure of the formation, and hundreds of officers and soldiers and representatives of their families greeted them at the wharf.
Since its departure from Zhoushan on April 28, the 44th Escort Squadron of the Chinese Navy has actively fulfilled its international rescue and rescue obligations, carried out in-depth international military exchanges and cooperation and public diplomacy activities, successfully completed 28 batches of 33 Chinese and foreign ships escort missions, continued to maintain the 200 percent safety of the escorted ships and the formation itself, and improved its ability to carry out diversified military tasks. After the escort mission, the squadron successively paid friendly visits to Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Myanmar, participated in the joint maritime exercise Xi"Ocean Guardian 3" between China and Pakistan in the waters north of the Arabian Sea, and docked in Singapore, fully demonstrating the good image of the People's Navy in the new era of openness and self-confidence.
