Do you know Momenta?Do you know GM, SAIC, etc.?Did you know that Momenta is the autonomous driving "brain" behind many of the models of these major automotive manufacturers?
There is a division of labor in all walks of life, and cutting-edge technologies such as autonomous driving in the automotive field have given birth to top technology start-ups, among which Momenta is one of the leaders, not only holding the technology of L2 and L4 tracks, but also having intelligent driving partners including SAIC, BYD and other leading car companies, mastering the industry's leading core technology.
Momenta's job experience posts have been posted on various community platforms, giving us a glimpse of what it's like to work for the world's leading Chinese tech company through these authentic words.
Loved the place
Momenta's freedom of work is astounding, and how much power I have to decide what I want to do and what I want to put it off the ground. As long as I am responsible for the results and do not deviate from the strategic direction of the company.
The company makes employees feel respected, and there is a post earlier about colleagues, but in fact, many details in the company can make people feel cared for and cared for, such as the weekly thunderous townhall, and the executive lady who tirelessly "serves" employees.
Momenta's learning resources are accessible to all new interns, and there are a variety of trainings and sharing. The gods do not have a little shelf, and encourage everyone to combine their personal direction with the company's research and development. I always feel that the biggest learning bottleneck here is my own inertia.
This is the first thing that frustrates me, and the frustration is that the people around me are very good. I can only keep telling myself that autonomous driving is an emerging company, and it is normal not to know some things. I'm also glad that I stepped out of my comfort zone in my junior year, and to be honest, I was ranked in the top three majors in school, and I was lonely here. I can only study harder, hoping that practice can bring more growth.
Momenta has begun to develop its own unique culture and continues to attract people who share her beliefs and pursuits. From a rational and multifaceted view of a social problem, to an obsession with saving lives from a car accident, to getting along like friends between superiors and subordinates, everyone likes to wear slippers to work.
Where you don't fit in
The company is running too fast, and sitting in this fast-moving car always makes people feel inadequate. For example, you want the company to have a team working on a certain product step by step tomorrow, but the structure of this team needs you to build, you have to do a lot of things that have never been done before, and you can constantly absorb knowledge through various ways, so that you can keep up with the pace of the company's development.
Various welfare systems are still being improved. There is nothing to say about the salary, and it is a street to throw off traditional Internet companies. However, diversified benefits such as holiday allowances and team building are still slowly becoming richer.
As mentioned earlier, everyone is smart, and it's hard to convince everyone at Momenta.
Xudong said this in his internal speech before:
"When you see a significant value point, it is usually something that most people don't see, or when you point it out, most people don't agree with it. This must be the norm.
So when you encounter this situation, you must break the inertia, you must have the courage to break the inertia.
When you have that insight, it's not enough, you also need to have the courage to do it, and the passion to attract people who think the same way. ”
Breaking the inertia and having the courage is probably what I want to learn at Momenta. ”
