On December 2, OpenAI's ChatGPT team released a letter to GPT developers stating that the "GPT Store" will be postponed until 2024.
Openai said in the announcement:
"We are now planning to launch a GPT store early next year. While we were originally planning to launch this month, something unexpected kept us busy! ”Before OpenAI's "palace fight", OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announced at OpenAI's first developer conference on November 7 that the "GPT Store" will be launched at the end of November. Through the store, users can create their own GPT to join the "GPT Store" and get a share.
Dear GPT developers, less than a month after the release of GPTS, we have been impressed by the useful and interesting GPTS created by the developer community.
Based on user feedback, we are continuing to make improvements to GPTS. In order to improve the functionality of Actions, we have upgraded the configuration interface, implemented one-click testing, added debugging messages in preview mode, and supported the setting of multiple domain names. In addition, we are concerned about uploading files. Now, when using Code Interpreter, uploaded files can be uploaded, so we've turned this feature off by default and added a note to better understand the change. If you have more feedback, we'd love to hear from you.
"We are now planning to launch a GPT store early next year. While we were originally planning to launch this month, something unexpected kept us busy! In the meantime, we'll be bringing some other major updates to ChatGPT soon. Thank you for investing your time in building GPT.
OpenAI aims to make it easy for everyone to create their own GPT, launching a customized version of ChatGPT chatbot, where anyone can create a customized version of ChatGPT to complete specific personal and professional tasks, so that they can be more helpful in daily life, specific tasks, work or family, and can be uploaded to the "GPT Store" to get a share.
This version does not need to be written**, just provide natural language instructions or upload additional knowledge information files, and you can build ChatGPT assistants in specific fields such as law, writing, finance, marketing, etc.
