On December 23, the launching ceremony of the 10th National Mass Ice and Snow Season was held at the Shougang Ski Big Air, the venue of the Beijing Winter Olympics. This year's National Mass Ice and Snow Season was co-sponsored by the General Administration of Sports of China and the Beijing Municipal People**, and six sub-venues in Tianjin, Hebei, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Hubei and all over the country kicked off the ice and snow season. 
Along with the launching ceremony, activities such as the "Learn to Skate with Olympic Champions" open class, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Figure Skating Free Skating Invitational Tournament, and the 10-year National Public Ice and Snow Season Achievement Exhibition were also launched in Shougang Park. Among them, in the open class of "Learning to Skate with Olympic Champions", the Beijing Winter Olympics short track speed skating mixed team relay champions Wu Dajing, Ren Ziwei, Fan Kexin, Qu Chunyu and Zhang Yuting appeared on the ice rink and interacted with the masses participating in the event. This year, around the theme of "Happy Ice and Snow, Create the Future Together", all parts of the country will carry out ice and snow events with rich content and convenience for the people, with preliminary statistics of nearly 2,000 events. Compared with the past, this year's national mass ice and snow season strives to achieve a wider range of people coverage. During the event, different types of ice and snow events will be organized according to the characteristics of different regions and different groups of peopleImplement the "Ice and Snow +" strategy, build an ice and snow economic system, promote the transformation of the ice and snow sports industry, and effectively drive the development of the event economy and the ice and snow sports industryMake good use of the legacy of the Beijing Winter Olympics, thoroughly implement the "Ice and Snow Benefiting the People Plan", open training venues to the society for free or at a low cost in an orderly manner, and support social ice and snow venues (halls) to be open to the public for free or at a low cost at important time nodes, so as to create conditions for the masses to participate in ice and snow sports nearbyVigorously support the construction of ice and snow social organizations around the masses, give full play to the role of sports associations at all levels, ice and snow sports associations and other social organizations, guide and promote the masses to spontaneously organize and establish a number of mass ice and snow organizations, mobilize and stimulate the enthusiasm of ice and snow sports enthusiasts, and carry out more "self-initiated, self-organized, and self-participation" ice and snow event activities.
