In Leshan, Sichuan, the country's first gas "leak-free" demonstration area built by PetroChina's Southwest Oil and Gas Field has taken the first step in the digital transformation of urban gas safety management. The reporter learned from the Qianxun location network of the construction party of the demonstration area *** hereinafter referred to as "Qianxun location") that in the past year of operation of the demonstration area, Beidou space-time intelligence has been integrated into the comprehensive perception, intelligent analysis, comprehensive control and other aspects of the gas safety production work in the demonstration area, with timely and accurate alarms and an incident response rate of 100%.

Along the pipeline in the demonstration area, the drone is equipped with a laser methane detector and conducts autonomous inspections along the preset pipeline route through the centimeter-level positioning service provided by Qianxun. "The 2-kilometer complex mountain road can be completed in only 8 minutes, which is dozens of times more efficient than manual inspection. In order to prevent the damage to the pipeline by landslides and other conditions, the demonstration area uses the Beidou millimeter-level positioning capability to monitor the situation around the pipeline in real time and give early warning. In view of pipeline corrosion and other conditions, the demonstration area has installed Beidou space-time intelligent oil and gas pipeline smart piles along many pipelines. The smart pile is jointly developed by Qianxun and Southwest Oil and Gas Field, and has the functions of monitoring pipeline corrosion and identifying illegal construction intrusion. It also has satellite communication capabilities, which can realize emergency warning even in areas without communication networks.

At the same time, with the help of the GIS automatic mapping and mapping system of the pipeline network provided by Qianxun Location, the staff can quickly collect the precise location coordinates of the pipeline and generate the pipeline network diagram with one click. In the face of pipeline maintenance and leakage rescue work, the staff only needs to navigate directly to the center line of the pipeline and the position of the valve according to the collected pipe network diagram, and dig out the pipeline, and the positioning error reaches the centimeter level.

In the process of integrating Beidou into the application of the gas industry, Qianxun is positioned according to local conditions, starting from actual scenarios, and continues to innovate.

For example, in order to more accurately identify the geological hazards in the gas pipeline scene, Chihiro has developed a geological hazard AI model. After the massive data is uploaded to the Qianxun location data platform, it is cleaned and filtered to retain the high-eigenvalue data that is really related to the ground disaster, so as to develop AI models, realize intelligent early warning, and reduce false alarms. At the same time, in the adjustment of the early warning threshold, Qianxun location technicians also carry out data accumulation and algorithm adaptation according to the on-site situation.
