It is reported that the National Education Directors Summit Forum is the first public welfare and academic platform in China that focuses on local education directors and integrates reform cooperation, achievement exchange, academic research, publicity and promotion, and political advice. It is hosted by Beijing Normal University and organized by the China Institute of Education and Social Development of Beijing Normal University (a national high-end think tank).
The selection activities of this forum are open to the education bureaus of cities (prefectures) and counties (cities and districts) across the country, and the content includes: digital transformation of education in the context of artificial intelligence, reform of basic education system and mechanism, reform of teacher team construction in education power, reform of examination enrollment evaluation, and reform of basic education curriculum teaching. The collection of innovative achievements began on September 1, 2023 and ended on November 10, 2023, and a total of 306 entries were submitted from all over the world. According to the "Selection Measures for Local Education Reform and Innovation Achievements" of the Organizing Committee of the Forum, 100 "Local Education Reform and Innovation Achievement Awards" were selected, and the Education Bureau Forum (2023) selected them.
