After Hu's death, Jiaxuan and his mother had major disagreements. Mother Bai Zhao insisted on letting Jiaxuan remarry, because the Bai family only had one man in Jiaxuan, and he still had no woman, let alone an heir, how to explain to the old man Bingde in the underworld?
Jiaxuan said that he couldn't do things rashly, otherwise he would only be busy marrying wives and burying people for the rest of his life, so he had to ask a Mr. Yin and Yang to take a look. The mother agreed.
Jiaxuan was on a stick early in the morning, stepping on the snow to invite Mr. Yin and Yang, and found the green leaves of a thorny thistle crawling on the slow slope ground. What a strange thing!
He dug through the wet soil and found tender pink white stalks adorned with five pink and white leaves of different sizes. He wanted to uproot it, but he thought that it might be a treasure and a precious grass, what if he pulled it out and died?
So he carefully backfilled the wet soil, turned around and walked back, intending to wait for two days before going to Mr. Yin and Yang. After returning home, he turned out the "Qindi Herb Encyclopedia" for comparison, but did not find a similar drug name, and anxiously thought of his brother-in-law Mr. Zhu, Mr. Zhu must know the goods.
Mr. Zhu has been brilliant since he was a child, at the age of 16, he was admitted to the county examination, and at the age of 22, he went to the provincial examination and won the first place in the Wenju with exquisite words.
Governor Fang wanted to entrust him with an important task, but Mr. Zhu insisted on resigning, and later lived in Bailu Academy. Because of his ability to divinate good hexagrams, Mr. Zhu was recited as a god in Bailuyuan.
Jiaxuan went to Bailu Academy to find his brother-in-law, and Mr. Zhu asked Jiaxuan to draw the white monster he said. After Mr. Zhu finished reading the painting, he broke that this monster was a deer, and Jiaxuan was so surprised that he couldn't speak, and the more he looked at it, the more he felt like it.
Legend has it that there was a white deer in the white deer plain, where it passed, the seedlings were strong, the grains were abundant, and the poisonous insects were extinct.
Jiaxuan believes that the white deer is now appearing as an elf, and he intends to show him good signs. So he began to plan how to buy that piece of feng shui treasure land-Lu Zilin's slow slope land.
"White Deer Plain" is a long story created by writer Chen Zhongzhong**, which was written by Chen Zhongzhong for six years and was first published in 1993. The ** takes Bailu Village, Bailu Yuan, Guanzhong District, Shaanxi Province as a microcosm, and shows the historical changes from the end of the Qing Dynasty to the seventies and eighties of the twentieth century for more than half a century by telling the grievances and disputes of the three generations of the two families surnamed Bai and Lu.
In this story, a woman should always be "wrong" and "bitter". But "White Deer Plain" is indeed a rare good book that reflects the times at that time, otherwise it would not have won the Mao Dun Literature Award. If you only see the salient descriptions and ignore the deeper meanings, then you also lose the most precious thing.
Chen Zhongzhong also won the 4th Mao Dun Literature Award for "White Deer Plain". It can be said that "White Deer Plain" has achieved Chen Zhongzhong, and Chen Zhongzhong has also written about this Weihe Plain.
He seems to be revealing the history of the Chinese nation and the history it bears.
Now that Mr. Chen Zhongzhong has passed away for many years, and our greatest memory of him is to read this work and trace the history in order to better point to the future.
