Volume XVIIIThose who have renleaped from their desires have attained inner victory over samadhi and attained the purification of Vipassana. The only way to break the knots is to be diligent and diligent, not to be identical.
The previous talk is about how to practice if you have not yet renounced desire. Those who have renounced desires have attained the special meditation of renunciation, and they are no longer subject to the realm of desire, and they have also attained the pure wisdom of renunciation. The five lower knots have been completely broken, so in order to be able to go further, cut off the five upper knots and continue to practice diligently. "Non-identity", explained in the "Hunt for Treasures", "It is said that you have left your desires, such as the bottom of the source." It is not like the first exercise, such as the feet and hands, and the courage and diligence, because the words are not the identity. "If you have completely departed from desire, you don't need to be as "moving as your feet and hands" as before, that is, you don't need to be so diligent physically.
If it has been crossedBecome an arhat, what you have doneYes, leaving the function of diligence, living on land, has reached the other side.
After diligent practice, if you cross the sea of suffering, you will become an arhat. At this time, everything that should be done has been done, and there is no need to work as diligently as before, which is called "living on land, and having reached the other side".
This shows the brahmins, bySectionThere are three kinds of righteousnessThe second is to learn, and the other is to be unlearned. If you have reached the brahmins on the other side, your name will never be lost. If you haven't left your desires, one cutThose who are diligent and diligent are named members of the Standing Committee. If you have left your desiresThose who get the bottom of the source are named and meditate.
Then he explained the fourth verse, "Tianru should know now, this metaphor is true Brahmanism, which means that all leaks will be exhausted forever, and the Standing Committee must be quiet. "There are three kinds of Brahmins who practice according to the righteousness, and two of them belong to learning, that is, there are two kinds of renunciation, that is, those who have renounced desires and those who have not renounced desiresOne is the non-learning, that is, the attainment of an arhat. If it is a brahmin who has attained the ultimate attainment and has reached the other side of the sea of suffering, it is called eternal freedom from afflictions, that is, the attainment of arhat's non-learning.
If you do not have the desire to stay away from the world of desire, but still belong to the body to Xi, you are called a "standing committee". The "Phi Xun Ji" explains, "It is said that the Bodhi division method is practiced, courageous, able to Xi often, able to Xi and delegated, impeccable, and worthy of the Standing Committee." "Standing Committee" refers to the 37 Bodhi Divisions that are Xi practiced, and they still need to be brave and diligent, and they need to cultivate the Xi without interruption and earnestly, without slackness or terror.
If you have already left the desire of the realm of desire and can reach the source, it is called "meditation." It is explained in the "Pil Search" that "it is said that if you have a pure mind and do what you have cultivated, you can consider all the Dharma principles and obtain the inner Dharma Vipassana, and you can meditate on it." "Meditation here refers to the four meditations of the cesium realm that have cut off the desires of the desire realm, and the complete destruction of the defilement of the desire realm, which is pure meditation. Being able to contemplate the truth of suffering, emptiness, impermanence, and selflessness has attained the wisdom of the Dharma.
Those who have to meditate will be cut off forever, one cutThe next division has been broken, and the greed and the deceit have been brokenAll of themSorrow burns. Those who are eternally exhausted, who have always stopped cultivating all afflictions, have cultivated Xi four kinds of mindfulness, permanent mindfulness and mental liberation.
Then he explains the fifth verse, "He is always broken, sorrowful and burning, abiding in righteous thoughts, and always liberating." As mentioned earlier, "having to be quiet" has been cut off, since we have cut off the first and five knots, we have also cut off the afflictions that belong to greed and anger, as well as the anger that arises from greed and the sorrow that arises from anger. The "eternal leakage" mentioned above has been successfully accomplished because it has been completely eliminated from all the troubles that have been broken by the path of cultivation, that is, the cultivation Xi of the four mindful dwellings. The mind is able to dwell on selfless mindfulness and be liberated.
He has not done it, but he has done more than he counted, and he has not done what he should have done to increase his victoryFirst nameSectionRighteous Brahmin.
When this brahmin is able to exhaust all the omissions forever, there is no need to continue to meditate diligently in the aspect of the body, in Xi the physical aspect, and there is no more special thing to do in this regard. After that, the practice is useless, and it is left to the task. Therefore, such a brahmin is called a true brahmin who practices according to the righteousness.
