On 11 December 2023, the 2023 Intangible Cultural Heritage Campus Experience Day of Po Leung Kuk was co-organised by China Resources Longdi***中艺术(Hong Kong)** and the New Territories Principals' Association, and co-organised by Po Leung Kuk Organised by primary schools, this event aims to enhance the understanding of China's intangible cultural heritage among teachers and students from local schools in Hong Kong, enhance their emotional identification with the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and enable the younger generation in Hong Kong to better integrate into Chinese culture, thereby building a stronger cultural consciousness and self-confidence.

Mr. Zhu Yonghong, Vice Chairman of China Arts (Hong Kong)**, Ms. Li Huiqiong, Member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Member of the Legislative Council, Mr. Liu Zhen, Deputy Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Mr. Chu Wai-lam, Chairman of the New Territories Presidents' Association, delivered speeches at the event, affirming the cultural value and significance of the event, and emphasizing the hope that through this project, teachers and students in Hong Kong can unite the strength of teachers and students, promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and jointly promote the long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong.

Mr. Zhu Yonghong, Vice Chairman of China Arts (Hong Kong)**, said in his speech that in order to help the construction of Hong Kong's Sino-foreign cultural exchange center, China Resources Longdi's China Arts Culture Platform will grandly launch the Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Campus Promotion Program of China Arts Culture Platform, and will more actively plan activities related to Chinese excellent traditional culture in the future, introduce more excellent traditional culture and art to Hong Kong citizens and Hong Kong young generation, and promote regional cultural exchanges and mutual learning. The programme will be piloted in the 2023-24 school year to bring Chinese intangible cultural heritage into schools, including on-site lectures, exhibitions, workshops, parent-child interest classes, teacher development days, etc., and will be gradually extended to all primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong in the future, so as to integrate the excellent traditional Chinese culture into school education and curriculum, and facilitate the inheritance and continuation of intangible cultural heritage.

At the kick-off ceremony, a special session of intangible cultural heritage gifts was set up, in which several inheritors of intangible cultural heritage presented intangible cultural heritage gifts to the officiating guests, which demonstrated the charming charm of traditional skills and highlighted the contribution of inheritors to the continuation and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage. This session is not only a moment for mutual exchange and interaction, but also a moment to convey sincere blessings through gifts and highlight the value and glory of Chinese intangible cultural heritage.

At the kick-off ceremony, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between Po Leung Kuk and the New Territories Principals' Association was held, and the three parties will carry out strategic cooperation in multiple directions in the next year, give full play to each other's advantages, and contribute to the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture to Hong Kong students and communities. The event also featured a variety of intangible cultural heritage experience booths, such as jade flower bonsai, Dongyi Palace lanterns, gold leaf forging, Foshan lion head, cloisonné cloisonné enamel craft, porcelain and antique appreciation, jade appreciation, Chinese costumes and a series of rich cultural display items, so that the participating school teachers and students can get close to and understand the traditional culture. The intangible cultural heritage inheritors and craftsmen of China Arts gave detailed explanations of various cultural projects, hoping that the participants would experience the content and links of the Chinese intangible cultural heritage inheritance school promotion plan workshop, and then introduce the intangible cultural heritage display suitable for their own schools into the campus, jointly integrate the excellent traditional Chinese culture into Hong Kong school education, strengthen the exchange between intangible cultural heritage and local educational institutions, and promote the inheritance and continuation of intangible cultural heritage, so as to lay a good foundation for the implementation of the popularization of Chinese culture.
