Danish audio group brand A**IK has announced the launch of the A**IK SD-880, the latest addition to the flagship 880 series and the Danish hi-fi brand's first-ever stream** DAC.
This is a further result of the unique collaboration between Michael B Rresen's audio engineering skills and Flemming Erik Rasmussen's artistic design abilities.
The design of the A**IK SD-880 is rooted in A**IK's goal of achieving the ultimate in true** reproduction.
The A**IK SD-880 is designed to eliminate intrusive "digital signatures", limit unwanted noise levels, enhance the information flow of signals, and improve resonance control.
Michael B Rresen said: "In our quest to unlock the full acoustic potential of **, we found this pollution'Digital signatures'The main reason is the common switching process inherent in conventional DAC circuits."
Featuring a non-switched continuum processing DAC developed and manufactured in-house by the Danish Audio Group, the A**IK SD-880 combines A**IK's state-of-the-art streaming** technology, noise reduction technology, and groundbreaking enclosure design.
Michael B Rresen and his team of audio engineers developed the A**IK Non-Switching Continuum Processing DAC, which is based on a method of upsampling a digital signal to 22 MHz and seamlessly converting it to an analog signal, maintaining an uninterrupted signal continuum without resorting to a switching array.
Equipped with all the premium materials and electronics that distinguish the 880 flagship series, the A**IK SD-880 joins the top-of-the-line A**IK series recently showcased at Hi-Fi, including at the Warsaw Audiovisual 2023, paired with the Borresen M6 flagship loudspeaker.
A**IK SD-880 Stream** DAC MSRP: US$70,000, about RMB 500,000.
