Professor Zhang Fu's oil painting "Auspicious Mountain Village" celebrates the story of farmers raising sheep and getting rich. But there were only about thirty sheep on the farm, and no breeders appeared. The flock is half white and half brown, highlighting the visual effect of the flock. Most of the sheep are carefree, frolicking and jumping, bathed in the spring sun;A few sheep seemed to be staring ahead; There are also a few that are leisurely and comfortable, as if they are thinking about something.
In the sun, a few poplar trees with dappled leaves form a unique landscape with white and brown mixed flocks of sheep. The whole picture focuses on the relationship between shallow and deep, dynamic and static, dense and sparse. The picture is real and full of beauty, ordinary and charming.
There is an episode behind Professor Zhang Fu's creation of this oil painting.
Professor Zhang Fu was originally going to Baoding to sketch and create the scenery of Taihang Mountain. On the train of the journey, I sat with the farmer Lao Tian in Chengde. Lao Tian was familiar with himself, chatting and talking about his "family history" of sheep raising. Lao Tian's wife is not in good health, the family has no income, and belongs to a well-known poor household in the village. With the support of the village, through the funds borrowed by relatives and friends, he bought 20 breeding sheep and started his entrepreneurial career of sheep raising.
After 5 years of hard work, it has developed into the first sheep farmer in the village, with more than 300 sheep raised by the family and an annual family income of more than 200,000 yuan with hard-working hands. Lao Tian's family not only got rid of poverty, but also achieved the small goal of getting rich.
Lao Tian's story touched Professor Zhang Fu and aroused Professor Zhang's desire to create. So, Professor Zhang Fu changed his itinerary and rushed to Chengde, Lao Tian's hometown, and spent a week creating this "Auspicious Mountain Village".
Professor Zhang Fu's oil painting shows the changes in the countryside, conveys the farmers' optimism for the future and their pursuit of a better life, and expresses his love for farmers and mountain villages.
Professor Zhang Fu is good at grasping the theme of the times, expressing the thoughts and feelings of ordinary people, and recording the collective memory of the times with his own brush. "Auspiciousness in the Mountain Village" is an oil painting and an emotional experience.
