Today, the Shanghai Charity Association and the Shanghai Research Institute of Culture and History jointly held the "Famous Artists of the Sea - Librarians of the Shanghai Museum of Culture and History" Charity PEN Club. 17 librarians from the Shanghai Research Institute of Culture and History created more than 40 works of calligraphy, Chinese painting and seal carving on the spot, and donated the works to the Shanghai Charity Association.

In recent years, many caring people have emerged among the librarians of the Shanghai Research Institute of Culture and History, who have participated in the "Light Up Your Wish" charity auction activities of the Shanghai Charity Association for many times, and actively participated in charity and public welfare undertakings, and have raised more than 18 million yuan through the donation of calligraphy and painting works.

On the same day, 17 librarians from the Shanghai Research Institute of Culture and History came to the PEN meeting to create works for charity through their brushes and carving knives, and immediately donated their works. There were also 6 librarians who donated their works even though they were coming to the PEN site.

In accordance with the common wish of the calligraphers, painters and seal carvers, the calligraphy, Chinese painting, seal carving and other works donated by the pen club will be followed by charity auctions, and the funds raised will be directed to the Shanghai Charity Association "Warmth to the Three Islands" project to help the needy people in Chongming Three Islands.
