1. Perform job responsibilities and do your job well
Comrade Li Weiwu is very passionate about the people's mediation work and has conscientiously performed his duties from beginning to end. Treat work seriously and responsibly, be enthusiastic, have a comprehensive understanding of contradictions and disputes, and treat the parties patiently and meticulously. Before mediating a conflict or dispute, we will investigate multiple parties to fully understand the situation, and exchange the parties' hearts and minds with a realistic work attitude. In May 2022, during a mediation process, he found that the parties were old and weak and had real difficulties in life, and immediately contacted the cadres of Bao Village after the dispute was resolved, and applied for temporary relief for the parties through multi-party coordination.
In the mediation work, Comrade Li Weiwu pioneered and innovated, based on and serving the people, and truly practiced the purpose of people's mediation to be closer to the people and more for the people.
2. Practice the spirit of Fengqiao and keep in mind the original intention of serving the people
Comrade Li Weiwu adheres to the motto of "daring to be the first and bravely standing at the head of the tide, the people-oriented, spring breeze and rain spirit of harmony, and the spirit of solving problems on the spot and giving up who else is responsible" as the motto of practicing the spirit of Fengqiao, and always adheres to the tenet of "people first, service first", resolves a number of sharp and complex contradictions and disputes, and has won the unanimous recognition and support of the party committee and the masses.
In December 2021, a year-old emotional dispute across the Taiwan Strait was successfully resolved, and after 24 hours of communication and mediation on the premise of respecting the emotions and laws and regulations of the two sides of the strait, the task of resolving letters and visits assigned by the district was completed, and the escalation of this emotional dispute was successfully avoided.
During the epidemic in 2022, Comrade Li Weiwu overcame multiple difficulties to successfully resolve a transnational death compensation dispute, so that the ashes of the victims who died of work-related injuries in Niger, Africa, were returned to their hometowns, and the compensation of 1.33 million yuan for the victims' families was paid at one time. In January 2023, Li Weiwu received an online application from Luo Mou in Xilinhot City, Inner Mongolia, saying that he had a private loan dispute with Chen in Mengjin District, and the Xilinhot Municipal Court had not been executed for 3 years, and requested an enforcement settlement. After nearly one month of online mediation, the two parties reached a settlement, and the Xilinhot Municipal People's Court closed the case on February 22, and this case of difficult enforcement in other places came to an end. Through online mediation, it has truly achieved "let the data run more and the people run less errands".
3. Carry out voluntary lectures and pass on the scriptures to colleagues
In his work, Comrade Li Weiwu constantly summed up his experience and was willing to help others. He often shares his mediation experience and practices with colleagues and peers, and uses typical cases related to marriage, inheritance, and neighborhood disputes to explain and exchange the basic principles and skills of mediation to his peers, so as to help more people's mediators deepen their understanding and mastery of mediation work, and help improve the quality level of grassroots people's mediators in the region. In September 2022, under the organization of the Political and Legal Committee of Mengjin District, Luoyang City, Comrade Li Weiwu successively conducted 4 voluntary training sessions for 437 mediators from 270 villages and 18 industry mediation committees in Mengjin District, Luoyang City.
In May 2023, Comrade Li Weiwu was invited to give a voluntary lecture to 219 people, including legal experts, grid members, and mediators in Chengguan Town, Huimeng Town, and Songzhuang Town, Mengjin District, Luoyang City. In June, July and October 2023, he was invited to participate in the training of legal understanders and people's mediators organized by the Judicial Bureau of Qianhe District, Xigong District, and Luoning County Judicial Bureau of Luoyang City, and conducted business training for 387 people in 172 communities.
