The jet nebulizer is generally 3-4ml, and the atomization is completed in 5-10 minutes. Screen atomizers are generally 03-2.0ml, 3-10 minutes to complete the atomization. If the amount of drug is too small and the nebulization time is too short, normal saline can be added to ensure the nebulization time. If the nebulization time has been 10 minutes, no more saline needs to be added.
3.It is necessary to pay attention to the compatibility contraindications when nebulizing different drugs.
Compound ipratropium bromide and levalbuterol need to be atomized separately, and if ambroxol is used for atomization, try to atomize separately;Do not mix with other drugs except saline.
4.30 minutes before nebulization, you should avoid overeating, so as not to cry during nebulization and cause vomiting and choking. It is best to take a sitting position for nebulization, the baby can be semi-recumbent, if it is a lying position, the head needs to be raised by 30 degrees. The respiratory tract should be cleared before nebulization, and you can pat your back and cough up sputum. If the mask atomization is used, the mouth and nose need to be tightened, and the cough, dizziness or nausea is aggravated during the nebulization process, the nebulization can be temporarily terminated and the mask removed. If your child has tremors or tremors in the limbs, it is usually caused by albuterol or terbutaline, and the dose needs to be reduced or stopped.
5.After atomization, you need to pay attention to washing your face and rinsing your mouth, and if you are young, you can use a cotton swab dipped in water to clean your mouth. After 10 minutes, you can drink water and milk. After each use, the nebulizer needs to be cleaned and kept dry for storage.
