There are many ways to adjust electronic scales into city scales, and the following will introduce three common methods in detail and provide relevant precautions.
Method 1: Set it through the function of the scale itself.
After turning on to zero, press the number keys "6" and "9" to enter the setting interface of the electronic scale. Different brands and models of electronic scales may have different ways to enter, please refer to the product manual for details.
In the settings interface, find the "Units" or "Units of Measure" option and click to enter.
In the unit options, find the "City Pound" or "Pound" option, select and save the settings.
Exit the setting interface, and the electronic scale has been set to the city scale.
Method 2: Set it up through the calibration function of the scale.
After turning on the machine to zero, press the "Calibration" or "Calibration" button on the electronic scale to enter the calibration mode.
In calibration mode, find the "Units" or "Units of Measure" option and click to enter.
In the unit options, select "City Pound" or "Pound" to start calibration. During the calibration process, you need to place the standard weights according to the prompts to ensure the accuracy of the calibration.
Once the calibration is complete, save the settings and exit the calibration mode. At this time, the electronic scale has been set to the city scale.
Method 3: Set it up through external factors.
Find an item of known weight, such as a 1 kg standard weight. Place the item on a scale and weigh it, and record the reading.
Based on the readings, calculate the weight of the item in the pound. For example, if the reading is 1 kilogram (1000 grams), the weight of the item under the pound is 2 pounds (because 1 kilogram is equal to 2 pounds).
Adjust the readings on the scale to the calculated weight of the pound. This can be achieved by pressing a number key or knob on the scale. After the adjustment, the electronic scale has been set to the city scale.
Note: Before making any settings, make sure you have read the product manual in detail and understand the basic operation and functions of the scale.
Different brands and models of electronic scales may have different setup methods and steps, please refer to the product manual or contact after-sales service for consultation.
Once you've set it up, be sure to test it to ensure accuracy. Items of different weights can be placed for weighing and compared with standard values. If you find that the error is large, please reset it or contact the after-sales service for debugging.
In daily use, please pay attention to keep the scale clean and dry, and avoid direct sunlight and high temperature environments. Regular inspection and maintenance can extend the service life and guarantee accuracy.
Do not disassemble or repair the scale at will to avoid damage or safety hazards. If you need to repair or debug, please contact professional after-sales service or technical personnel for operation.
When it's time to switch back to the kilogram scale, simply follow the same steps to enter the setup interface or calibration mode and select the "Kilogram" option. Testing and validation are likewise required to ensure accuracy.
