Buyers can tell before they even step through the door that this is a "Tarek and Christina" home. The exterior is painted grey with white accents, a color scheme that HGTV stars often choose for their flips.
While paint is the flipper trend, fans may be surprised by the relatively simple front door, as the former couple have been known to enhance the roadside appeal with an excellent entrance. They often complete the flip with a bold black or yellow color on the front door.
While this **simple, white door looks great, it might leave fans wondering why this home doesn't have an interesting front door.
When it comes to the iconic style, El Moussa-Hall no house is complete without a painted fireplace. The couple often opted to update the brick fireplace with a simple white (or black) coating, so it's no surprise that this home has this cost-saving update.
The kitchen is a bit small, but it has some nice features, including white shaker cabinets, quartz countertops, and a white subway tile backsplash.
The space also comes with black appliances, which El Moussa once called "very neat" in the 2022 special "Flip or Flop: The Final Flip."
It seems that the former couple were unable to tear down this kitchen wall, restricting the cooking space. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be taking advantage of the wall on the other side.
In the Season 12 episode of "Surf City Flip", the two had to keep a similarly located wall and eventually built a bar in this empty space.
Unfortunately, the table and mirrors weren't as exciting as the bar they could have installed.
The house has a beautiful white ceiling, which Hall and Ermousa discussed in the Season 12 episode, "Groovy Flip."
The stars of the hgtv found themselves in darkness inside, and instead of tearing down the walls to let the light in, Hall had another idea.
If we paint the ceiling white, it makes a big difference," she said. "It feels much brighter. ”
It worked in another house, and sure enough, it worked in this house as well.
Don't forget the master bedroom.
The home boasts a spacious master suite and a luxurious bathroom with double vanities and a large walk-in shower. It's not the large wet room that El Moussa and Hall used to design, but it's still a good selling point.
The home also has a backyard with a pool and spa, perfect for hot California weather. The yard has a privacy fence on the back wall.
El Moussa and Hall discuss the importance of backyard privacy in the Season 12 episode of "Red Hot Flip," when they paid $3,500 for a new wooden fence when they realized the flip and retreated to the baseball field. Hall called the fence "expensive but worth it."
Of course, the extra privacy of this home is also a great asset.
Perhaps one of the funniest things about this backyard is the cabin, which leads to the pool. It's a unique space that's perfect for entertaining.
