At 10 o'clock in the morning of December 7, with the success of the last excavation and blasting, after 1,155 days of construction, the Guihuayuan Tunnel of the Chongqing-Qianjiang section of the Chongqing-Hunan High-speed Railway was successfully completed, marking the breakthrough of the first 10,000-meter-long tunnel on the whole line, laying a solid foundation for the early opening of the whole line.
With a total length of 10,944 meters and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, the Guihuayuan Tunnel is a single-hole double-track tunnel, designed by the Second Institute of China Railway and constructed by the 11th Bureau of China Railway, and is the third longest tunnel on the whole line. The tunnel is a heavy and difficult control project and a high-risk tunnel in the heavy Guizhou section of the Chongqing-Hunan high-speed railway, with complex geological conditions, a total of 5 sections of high gas sections, and the whole tunnel is rich in karst, faults, coal mine goafs and other undesirable geology. During the construction process, difficulties such as tunnel water gushing, cavity, rockburst, and underground river were overcome, and the construction safety risk was high and difficult.
In order to ensure the high-quality and efficient completion of the Guihuayuan Tunnel, the project department of China Railway 11th Bureau adheres to the prevention in the safety control of high-risk tunnel construction, strengthens the combination of management and technical measures to ensure safety, strictly implements advanced geological forecasting, and discovers the bad geology of the tunnel construction process through geophysical prospecting and drilling, and takes targeted technical measures and safety assurance measures in a timely mannerIn view of the risk of tunnel gas, the combination of automatic gas monitoring and manual detection is used to realize long-distance, fixed-point, long-term and continuous automatic monitoring of the concentration of toxic and harmful gases in the operation area, and the establishment of sound and light alarm systems can realize automatic alarm and automatic power cut-offStrict management of fire sources, the implementation of access control management system, strict implementation of hot work management, effectively ensure the safety of operations.
It is understood that the Chongqing-Qianjiang section of the Chongqing-Hunan high-speed railway is an important part of the Xiamen-Chongqing channel in China's "medium and long-term railway network planning". After the completion of the project, the travel time between the Qianjiang River in Chongqing and the main urban area will be shortened from the current 4 hours to less than 1 hour, greatly improving the travel conditions of residents along the route.
