Typical application of HACH hash NH4D SC ammonia nitrogen analyzer in the United States.
Typical Applications.
Monitor NH4-N values in nitrification and aeration tanks in wastewater treatment plants, as well as in industrial process waters. The discharge of industrial wastewater should not exceed 30%.
Features and Benefits:
The sensor can dynamically compensate for the temperature and pH in the sample.
Simple built-in matrix correction.
Optional cleaning device reduces maintenance.
There is no need to prepare samples on site.
Can be connected to the SC controller platform.
It can be easily monitored on the move.
Measurement method. The NH4D SC ammonia nitrogen analyzer uses an ion-selective electrode method. Potassium ions are measured by a PHD reference electrode and a temperature sensor. The NH4D SC Ammonia Analyzer uses an ion-selective electrode to directly detect ammonium ions in an aeration tank to determine the concentration of ammonia nitrogen. Use a PHD (differential pH) electrode as a reference electrode for better stability. Probably the most significant interference during the measurement comes from potassium ions (K+).
NH4D SC ammonia nitrogen sensor consists of potassium ion selective electrode, pH electrode and temperature electrode together to form an integrated electrode, also called sensor cylinder, (called Cartrical technology), these parameters can be corrected to each other to compensate for the value of ammonia nitrogen. Interference can be further reduced using cartrical technology. The analyzer has the flexibility to make ** corrections to further improve the accuracy of the measurement.
