Despite a strong performance against Belgium, the Scottish women's team ended in a 1-1 draw, but were relegated to Division B in the next edition of the Women's UEFA Nations League. Marie de Truyer gave Belgium the lead on 30 minutes of the first half, but Scotland then equalised with a stunning long-range strike from Erin Katzebert. Although Scotland then dominated the game, they were unable to find the winning goal. The draw left Belgium third in the group, while England were first after a stunning win over the Netherlands.

During the game, Scotland's Catzbert was forced to leave early due to a facial injury. In the other match, the Welsh women's team lost 2-1 to Iceland and were relegated from the top division of the Women's UEFA Nations League. Goals from Hildur Antonsdottir and Delia Zommers led to relegation for Wales, although substitute Élise Hughes scored a goal in stoppage time. Wales' hopes of promotion have been dashed and they will face Germany in their final fixture.

On the positive news, Northern Ireland Women thrashed Albania 4-0 to keep their hopes of progression to the top of the hierarchy alive. Simon Maggill scored two goals and Danielle Maxwell and Megan Bell added further to the goal to secure the win. The win saw Northern Ireland move up to second place in the group, overtaking Hungary. The Republic of Ireland also maintained their perfect record in the competition with a 1-0 victory against Hungary. Ireland's victory was aided by an own goal from Hungary captain Henrietta Chisar. Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland will face each other in the final round of group play, while Wales will face Germany in their final fixture.
