100 Helping Programs
We all live in a world full of relationships of all kinds, and sometimes, we find ourselves feeling disgusted with certain people. However, Professor Luo Xiang's famous quote reminds us:"When you are disgusted with the people around you, the best way to express your disgust is not to quarrel with them, but to be diligent and work hard to get away from them. ”This sentence touched me deeply and reminded me of an experience I once had.
1. The disgust of first acquaintance.
When I was in college, I met a roommate who had very different Xi from me. I like to be tidy, but he always makes a mess of the room. I tried to communicate with him in the hope that he would change, but each time it ended in an argument. I began to dislike him and even wanted to escape from this suffocating environment.
2. Choosing to leave, not to escape.
In the midst of endless quarrels and contradictions, I remembered Professor Luo Xiang's words. I decided to leave, not to escape him, but to give myself a better living environment. I started to actively look for a new place to live, but I also tried to adjust my mindset. I know that leaving doesn't mean the end of the problem, but a new beginning. In the process, I learned how to better handle relationships with others, and I also learned to be tolerant and understanding.
3. New encounters, better self.
After moving out of my old dorm, I met new roommates. They were warm and cheerful and we got along well. In my new environment, I found myself becoming more independent and confident. I started to actively participate in various club activities and make more friends. I've found that leaving is not a fear, it's an opportunity. It allowed me to meet a better version of myself, and also allowed me to have a broader stage in life.
4. Be brave in the face of the unknown.
Leaving the familiar surroundings and crowds is not easy, and it requires courage and determination on our part. When I decided to leave that disgusting roommate, I was filled with fear and insecurity. I was worried that I would be lonely and helpless, that I would not adapt to my new environment. But I know that I can only truly grow and progress if I am brave enough to face the unknown. Eventually, I managed to integrate into the new environment and gain more friendships and growth.
Professor Luo Xiang's famous words made me deeply realize the importance of leaving. It's not just a choice, it's an opportunity. When we encounter people or circumstances that are not in tune with us, we should bravely choose to leave and find a better encounter. Let us use diligence and courage to meet unknown challenges and opportunities, and create our own bright future!
