Indigenous tuning brand damd recently released official images of two Jimny tuned cars, which are inspired by the original Renault 5 and Lancia Delta Integrale, respectively, and pay homage to rally legends. It is reported that the two modified cars will make their debut at the Tokyo Modification Show 2024.

According to official images, the blue and purple Jimny modified car is based on the original Renault 5. It features a similar headlight cluster and front surround to the Renault 5, with a boxy light cluster that brings a retro feel. In addition, the car has added a spoiler design and white oz rally rims. The Jimny modified car retains the Turbo latte on the body of the original Renault 5, but adds a NON badge to the details, indicating that it is not turbocharged.

Another red modified car is inspired by the Lancia Delta Integrale. The car made a name for itself in the WRC Group B category in the early 80's. As can be seen from the official pictures, the red Jimny modified car has also restored the design of the headlights and grille, and added a latte design to details such as the cabin cover and roof, and the rear is also equipped with a larger spoiler with white oz rally rims underneath.

In addition, the powertrain of the two modified cars has not been upgraded, and the original settings are still maintained. In the Japanese market, this car is equipped with 0A 7-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, which is offered in other global markets with a 1A 5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
