You need to stay alive within a 30-second countdown, but you don't need to stay next to the marker all the time, but if you die, you'll have to replant a new marker in another raid.
Once you've placed the marker, you'll need to successfully evacuate from the customs map to complete the last submission. You don't need to evacuate from the same raid that planted the marker, but you have to survive at least once - an outright attempt to take out doesn't count.
