From a soldier to a pig breeder to a military school, my winding military road
In December 1974, I embarked on a raging storm called the military. These few months have meant a lot to me, like a great test in my life.
I didn't expect the decision to enlist in the army to be a big drama between heaven and man.
At that time, dressed in a recruit uniform, I looked at the date deliberately circled in red on the enlistment notice, and my heart was extremely excited. However, the brutality of the recruit training was beyond all my imagination.
In the beginning, I was a hairy young man, and my physical fitness was not outstanding. During that time, every day was running desperately, standing straight in a military posture, and every moment was like receiving the baptism of life. My friends are insisting, why should I show weakness?I made up my mind that no matter how difficult it was, I would grit my teeth and persevere. I tried to catch up, and in order not to pull back, I even secretly did extra training on my own in the middle of the night.
At that time, every day was a mixture of sweat and tears.
If the standing posture is not good, I will actively ask the old squad leader for advice; If you make a mistake in turning on all sides, you have to practice it yourself. I put my heart and soul into it, and watching my progress came with a sense of accomplishment. The military posture is more erect, and the steering is smoother. As for military theory, I also began to gradually gain a deeper understanding.
During this time, I continued to rise to the challenge, which inspired my love and confidence in military life. I became a guy with the blood of a soldier, and I had more strength to persevere.
But that's not enough.
In addition to daily physical training, we also have to undergo rigorous military theory and tactical research. Understand all kinds of first-class equipment, be familiar with the combat command process, and learn to deal with emergencies. This knowledge is like putting on a solid armor for us and laying a solid foundation for future actual combat.
Three months passed in a hurry. After the recruit training, we officially stepped into the wider military world. The discomfort and difficulties at the beginning all became insignificant at that moment.
In the military, I felt more than just discipline and training.
It is a kind of selfless, resolute, and responsible soldier's spirit. This spirit is our loyalty to collective honor and excellence, and the belief that we strive to dedicate ourselves to.
In December 1974, from the moment I resolutely stood in the barracks, I was not only a recruit, but also a qualified soldier. This training journey has become a valuable experience in my life. It not only cultivated my belief in serving the country, but also tempered my courage to fight for it.
The vow I took when I graduated, "Serve the people," became the motto of my life's struggle. I chose to become a soldier and use what I learned and what I could to give everything to the country's defense of the prosperity and tranquility of my country.
Time has passed, but the memories of those training years still shine brightly in my heart.
It was like a fierce battle, polishing my will and making me more resilient in the wind and rain. No matter what difficulties I encounter in the future, I will always remember that young self and move forward bravely without giving up.
This is my military story, although it is tortuous and rugged, but every step is a footprint of my growth and a testimony of my persistence in my beliefs.
