Pharmaceutical excipient flash dryer is an advanced drying equipment, especially suitable for the treatment of pharmaceutical excipients. At the heart of this lies in the efficient evaporation and production of ultra-fine products. The wet material enters the main body of the machine through the feeding system, is ground by the crushing rotor to form very fine particles, and flows under the temperature control of the grinding chamber. At the same time, the hot gas is processed through a heater that provides the necessary heat for the drying process.
Hot air (or inert gas) can be heated up to 650°C, which allows the wet product to disperse quickly, reducing the bottom section size of the dryer. The special feature of this system is the negative pressure design of the exhaust fan and the surface area of the product, which greatly increases the air velocity and allows the water (or other solvent) to evaporate rapidly.
The dried fine particles and gas of the pharmaceutical excipient flash dryer flow to the separator, and the particle size is conveyed to the top of the dryer. The particles are then passed through the classifier at the set entry point and conveyed with the exhaust powder to an air separation system like a cyclone cyclone dust collector or cyclone dust collector. This separation process ensures that the dried product is not only fine in size, but also evenly dried.
Another important feature of the dryer is its ability to ensure a low level of wet material adhering to the inner wall of the drying chamber in the product fluid bed drying chamber. This allows the material to dry more evenly and avoids local overheating and product agglomeration. In addition, the sorting speed and outlet temperature can be adapted to the process parameters that control the moisture content and the particle size of the final product, making quality control in the production process more flexible and precise.
