In the undergraduate early batch of the centralized admission stage of the autumn college entrance examination, there are about 10 colleges and universities with special admission models, which we call simply "comprehensive evaluation admission universities". Admission to these universities is based not only on the cultural results of the college entrance examination, but also on the results of the comprehensive evaluation test. These "comprehensive evaluation admission methods" in the early batch have their own characteristics, and there are mainly the following five admission modes after submission.
01-"631" mode.
This model is more common among colleges and universities admitted by comprehensive evaluation. Colleges and universities that adopt this model mainly select the best students based on their "college entrance examination scores (60%), school test scores (30%), and high school academic proficiency test scores (10%)". Hong Kong Chinese University (Shenzhen), Shenzhen Polytechnic Moscow University, Southern University of Science and Technology, and South China University of Technology have all adopted this approach.
02 - "73" mode.
The university that uses this admission model is Beijing Foreign Chinese University. Candidates who have passed the preliminary examination are generally required to participate in the ability test organized by the school after the college entrance examination and before the score. The aptitude test is conducted in the form of an interview with a maximum score of 50 points, including a foreign language oral test (full score of 25 points) and a Chinese interview (full score of 25 points). Candidates who pass the test results will be admitted in a comprehensive evaluation of the actual score of the college entrance examination and the ability test score of the candidate, and the full score of the local college entrance examination score will be added up to the ratio of 7 3.
03-"55" mode.
Duke Kunshan University has adopted this model. The school conducts interviews and written examinations through "Campus Day Activities", which are generally divided into two rounds. The first round will be held on March 10, 16 and 24, and the second round will be held on April 7 and 13. The school will determine the shortlist by 4 times the enrollment plan and release it on April 26. Admission is based on the results of the college entrance examination (weighted 50%), the school's independent comprehensive evaluation (weighted 50%, including a comprehensive evaluation of the SLATE admission application and supplementary materials, and the applicant's performance in "campus day activities").
04-ab mode.
NYU Shanghai follows this model for admissions. The school is divided into two grades according to the performance of candidates participating in the "Campus Day Activities", and all candidates who have reached the special control line in the college entrance examination will be admittedB-level candidates not only need to reach the special control line of the college entrance examination scores, but also the school should conduct a comprehensive evaluation of various factors including the college entrance examination results, and select the best candidates for B-level candidates if they have not completed the plan after being admitted. NYU Shanghai** The deadline for submission is January 1 of each year. The "Campus Day Activities" will be conducted in English, and the specific time and method will be announced.
05 - Bonus mode.
ShanghaiTech University adopts this model. According to the test performance of the candidates on the "Campus Open Day", the school will give them three extra points discounts: A, B and C. 20 points for A grade, 15 points for B grade, and 10 points for C grade. When admitted, candidates will be selected according to the results of the college entrance examination and the results of the combination of extra points. Of course, candidates who have not received the extra points discount of the "Campus Open Day" can also directly fill in ShanghaiTech University with the cultural results of the college entrance examination.
