On December 11, the "2023 New Think Tank Governance Forum" co-sponsored by Nanjing University, Yunnan University and Jiangsu Academy of Social Sciences, and co-organized by the China Think Tank Research and Evaluation Center of Nanjing University and the Institute of International Relations and Regional and Country Studies of Yunnan University was successfully held in Kunming.
This year's forum focused on the theme of "Super Intelligent Society, Global Governance and the Construction of New Think Tanks", and more than 400 experts and think tank leaders from the think tank circles, ideological and theoretical circles across the country jointly shared the progress and advanced experience of the construction of new think tanks with Chinese characteristics, and demonstrated the ideological power of new think tanks with Chinese characteristics in the new era and new journey. Shao Lianfen, Dean of the Institute of Industrial Innovation and Development of Huanghuai University, was invited to attend the forum and made a special speech in the second sub-forum.
In the second sub-forum, Shao Lianfen shared with the participants the practices and experience of strengthening the construction of think tanks from the aspects of the construction goals, positioning, responsibilities, school support, internal construction, and external exchanges of the Industrial Innovation and Development Research Institute with the theme of "Focusing on the Improvement of Service Capabilities and Building a New Brand Think Tank - Report on the Construction Experience of the Think Tank of the Industrial Innovation and Development Research Institute of Huanghuai University".
The forum included a number of activities such as the opening ceremony, keynote speeches, and results releases, and set up sub-forums such as the construction of regional and national disciplines in the new era, the development of new cultural think tanks with Chinese characteristics, the capacity building of enterprise think tanks, and the construction of data-driven think tanks.
Since 2016, the forum has been held for seven consecutive sessions, aiming to fully demonstrate the thinking and exploration of China's think tank community on the construction of new think tanks with Chinese characteristics, promote the healthy development of new think tanks, and promote the modernization of the decision-making and consulting system through special seminars and exchanges.
