I've been interested in traditional culture since I was a child, so as soon as I heard that there was an experience event in the newly completed Changsha Drama Street, I quickly signed up for it. On that day, we visited the Hunan Provincial Peking Opera Protection and Inheritance Center, the Provincial Hunan Theater and the Provincial Flower Drum Theater, and I liked every aspect very much.
My mother is an actress at the Hunan Provincial Peking Opera Preservation and Inheritance Center. When I was a child, I used to play in the Peking Opera Company, and I was very familiar with the people and things in the courtyard, but since I went to school, I have not come to it very often. This time, I found a new change at once, the five big characters of "Changsha Drama Street" came into view, the walls along the way were painted with opera characters, the blue brick floor was engraved with the name of the opera, and the opera mask was also printed on the separation belt between people and vehicles. The strong atmosphere of opera seems to welcome people into the palace of opera.
A few steps later, I saw my mother standing at the door of the Peking Opera Theater with a smile on her face, she was today's "opera recommendation officer". I thought my mother would take us to the theater to see a Peking Opera performance, but she took us into the stage gallery and told us the story behind the scenes. Through my mother's narration, I got to know the world of stage art backstage of Peking Opera and learned a lot of new knowledge and terminology. For example, the makeup department's "hit **" and "dot cui head face", and the clothing department's "python", "lean" and "water sleeve" and so on. We learned Xi, recorded, and experienced at the same time, and our eyes were dizzying, and our hearts were amazed.
What interests me the most is learning Xi in the helmet department. "Mustache" is the beard worn by Peking Opera characters, don't look at it as a beard, but there is a big way inside. A complete beard is called "full", a gap in the mouth part is called "tie", and a beard with five whiskers is called "five-mouth". The characters on the stage wear different colors of mustaches for different ages, white for the elderly, black for the young, and gray for the middle-aged. Oh, no, no, no, gray is called "miserable" in Peking Opera. Haha, interesting!I picked out a "red tie" and put it on, learning the momentum of the big flower face, staring at the eyes and shining up, really angry!
Afterwards, we went to the theater, where the band members of Peking Opera were sitting neatly on the stage. Under my mother's introduction, I learned that the orchestra of Peking Opera is divided into literary and martial arts. The literary field is composed of strings, which vibrate the strings and produce sound by using the bow and pulling the pieceThe martial arts arena is composed of percussion, which produces sound by percussion. We also watched opera performances at the Provincial Hunan Theater, learned Xi the opera, and visited the new theater and equipment of the Provincial Flower Drum Theater.
When everyone felt that they were still unsatisfied, the teacher told us that the activity was over. I was still immersed in the shock of the opera experience, and I thought that I would definitely experience it next time. Because I have never figured out how opera actors can perform freely in so many and heavy costumes, it must take a lot of hardship to practice!

Changsha is a famous historical and cultural city with a rich intangible cultural heritage. Not long ago, I participated in the Changsha Drama Street Gathering Activity organized by the Changsha Evening News, and walked into the opera "Grand View Garden" to visit and experience it at close range.
Under the guidance of the teacher, we came to the Hunan Provincial Peking Opera Protection and Inheritance Center. "It's so beautiful!"I couldn't help but be amazed when I saw the dazzling array of brightly colored opera costumes. In the past, the Danjiao in Peking Opera was led by men, in order to make their faces appear more delicate, soft and beautiful, they would "paste **" on their faces and heads, which is also an indispensable technical activity for the makeup of Peking Opera Danjiao, and it is the finishing touch to make the actors shine. The whole process can take two or three hours to complete. The most youthful and beautiful decoration is the "red diamond bit face" - each strand of silver wire is wound by the handicraft layer by layer, and finally a dazzling ruby is embellished in the center, worth tens of thousands of yuan!After listening to the teacher's introduction, the students were so shocked that their glasses widened, and they let out exclamations such as "Oh my God" and "Wow".
After looking at the opera costumes, we walked into the Peking Opera Band. There are many musical instruments here, and under the introduction of the teacher, I got to know the Jinghu, Gaohu, Zhonghu, gongs, drums and other musical instruments. The uncles and aunts of the Peking Opera Troupe played a song "Welcoming Spring" for us, and the festival was sometimes high, sometimes low, sometimes cheerful, sometimes enthusiastic, and the students were intoxicated by this beautiful music.
Afterwards, we came to the Provincial Flower Drum Theater. Flower Drum Opera is a traditional drama in Hunan, a national intangible cultural heritage, and a special project of our school. When I visited backstage, I saw a lot of things that I couldn't see offstage, such as the big tube being the main instrument, made of bamboo tubes and snake skin;Some of the clothes are silk, which is very comfortable to the touch and the colors are bright.
With the "click" sound of the camera, we left many unforgettable moments in Xiqu Street, Xiqu room, performance stage and other places, and learned a lot of opera knowledge. During the study Xi and visits, I deeply felt that the intangible cultural heritage of opera needs to be inherited and carried forward by the new generation of young people, otherwise it will be drowned in the long river of history. We first came to a small courtyard where there were many interesting things waiting to be explored. I learned that those wigs worn on the heads of opera actors were made with real hair so that they could be better combed. A wig teacher is applying a sticky object called elm bark to his hair and combing it through it. I saw that she used her dexterous fingers to squeeze out the excess juice, and then used a clever technique to clamp one end of her hair, and with a bend, she did the look she wanted. I thought it was very easy to do, but when one of my classmates went up and tried it, it was not that easy.
Afterwards, we went to the place where we enjoyed the performance. The actors are dressed in gorgeous costumes and platform shoes, and their graceful dancing and melodious singing voices are intoxicating. The actor's headdress is decorated with gorgeous plush balls, like little stars, shining with dazzling light. I picked up a headdress. Wow!I didn't expect it to be so heavy that I almost didn't hold it steady. Let's go to see the costumes worn by the actors. Everyone scrambled to reach out, hoping to grab the gift in the gold ingot. Every student who got the gift had a happy smile on their face, as if they had received the most precious treasure. Today's trip is over, and I deeply feel the magical charm of opera. It is a treasure of our Chinese nation and an important part of traditional Chinese culture. What impressed me the most was a makeup artist's sister "hit **", she told me that it was used to adjust the actor's face shape. I saw that she first used elm bark to comb the hair pieces, and then very skillfully concave out a semi-circle shape, which is very beautiful. I also saw all kinds of costumes, helmets, full and pierced ......These headdresses and clothes look brilliant and beautiful, dignified and magnificent. I really want to put it on and try it out, and have a good time with opera!

This time, I participated in the "Chinese Opera on Campus" activity, walked into the theater and opera, from moves to exercises, from costumes to makeup, for the first time to understand the opera culture behind the stage, and experienced the difficulties of opera actors.
During the activity, we visited the make-up and costume area of the opera actors. There is a link in the makeup process of opera actors called "playing **", which means that the actor has to paste nine ** on his face before going on stage. It is usually made of real hair, which is used to adjust the face shape, and then glued to the face with shavings water or elm sap, which can make the makeup of the character more realistic and smooth. Thinking about opera actors, not only are they "full", but they may also have to wear wigs, hats, etc., and sing and dance on stage, which is really not simple.
Subsequently, we gave wonderful performances by the opera actors. On the stage, the actors' mellow singing voices and flexible and beautiful figures won the applause of the students. "Mulan", "Changing Face", "Qinyuan Spring, Changsha" and other programs dizzy me, the actors' vivid performances, solid singing skills, and skillful figures, I am deeply admired. Look at their gorgeous costumes and exquisite makeup, which are particularly dazzling on the glittering stage, and make the protagonists in the play deeply imprinted in my heart.
I also went on stage to learn a little opera action from an actress's sister. Don't underestimate just a scene of a "woman going out", pay attention to details such as lifting feet, stepping, turning, dancing sleeves, turning back, etc. The actors have to express the joy and sorrow of the characters in the play in every move, which is really intriguing.
