Introduction
Nanxuan Academy is located at the foot of Guanshan Mountain in Ningxiang City, and was founded by Zhang Yan, a master of science and educator in the Southern Song Dynasty. Ming Shizong ordered to rename Luodai Mountain as "Guanshan" in the third year of Jiajing, and built the Nanxuan Academy named after Zhang Yan again, and the imperial book plaque;Qing Muzong issued an edict in the eighth year of Tongzhi, "The big and small civil and military ** stop here".

In 2017, the Ningxiang Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal ** restored the academy and its surrounding relics on the site of Nanxuan Academy, with the traditional academy building structure as the basic style, and the overall closed courtyard structure, reflecting the rich cultural atmosphere of the academy.
Ningxiang people are outstanding people, and needless to say, there are 12 peaks and 13 rocks in the majestic Dawei Mountain, with beautiful scenery and profound cultural context. Needless to say, the four rivers meandered and circled in the land of Chuwei, nourishing countless people with lofty ideals such as He Shuheng and Xie Jueya. Not to mention the thousand-year-old Miyin Temple, the mysterious Tan River, and the steaming gray hot springs. Even if it is a senior Ningxiang person, it is difficult to say the ancient Ningxiang, the beauty of Ningxiang, and the abundance of Ningxiang without some careful combing.
Among the many cultural landscapes in Ningxiang, my favorite is Nanxuan Academy.
Yang Rui, one of the "Six Gentlemen of Wuxu", said: "The sky looks up to Beidou, and he is learning to worship Nanxuan." Nanxuan Academy is not an ordinary academy.

Nanxuan Academy is located at the foot of Guanshan Mountain in Xiangzikou, a remote township in the western part of Ningxiang, more than two hours' drive from Yuelu Academy, and 79 kilometers away from Ningxiang County. What is amazing is that every year during the Qingming Festival, the president of Yuelu Academy, a thousand-year-old school, will lead dozens of Huxiang scholars and undergraduate, master's and doctoral students to come to Nanxuan Academy reverently to worship Mr. Zhang Yan, the founder of the academy and the master of the Huxiang school. Not only the teachers and students of Yuelu Academy come to worship, but also the experts, scholars and students of Chengnan Academy (now Hunan First Normal College) and Biquan Academy (now Xiangtan University) also come to Xiangzikou every year to pay homage to Nanxuan Academy, and think carefully about the future.
That's right, Mr. Zhang Yan, who is well-known as "Zhu Zhang will speak", and his father Zhang Junxian have been naturalized in Guanshan, Ningxiang for nearly 900 years!
Guanshan was originally known as Luodai Mountain, and the village under Luodai Mountain was named Longtang since ancient times. Luodai Mountain connects the remnants of Hengyue, belongs to the right vein of Weishan, there are many maple trees since ancient times, and the ancient maple trees that can only be hugged by a few people can be seen in the mountain today. The green water in Longtang's hometown is sparkling, and the water and white clouds and light mist come out from the peaks, and the surrounding flowers and fruits are the most prosperous.

During the Shaoxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty, Zhang Jun and the eldest son of Zhang Jun and the eldest son of the Ming Dynasty traveled to Tanzhou, passed through Ningxiang, visited the secret seal, worshiped the tomb of Pei Xiu, went down along the nine folds, traveled to this place, admired the scenery of "pillow mountain, surrounded by water, face screen" here, successively buried here, and left the pearl in the academy - Nanxuan Academy.
Si people have been with the mountains for thousands of years, and the inheritance of Taoism and spiritual philosophy have lasted for more than 800 years. When was Nanxuan Academy built?In 2014, the Changsha Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology found two obvious architectural traces in the archaeology of the old site of the academy, the academy wall foundation site 12 places, made of blue bricks and stone barriers, the building age can be traced back to the Song Dynasty, and continued to the Ming and Qing dynasties. The most recent written record is that in the third year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty, the imperial decree rebuilt the Wei Gong Ancestral Hall and Nanxuan Academy, and the first assistant of the cabinet, Yang Tinghe, personally wrote the "Inscription of the Ancestral Hall of the Father and Son of Zhang Gong of the Song Dynasty". I can't even understand why the county commander Hu Mingshan, a foreigner, spent so much effort to build the academy at that time, and why Emperor Jiajing favored Zhang Jun and Zhang Yan so muchMaybe it's the academic system that originates from the "Tao Nan Zhengmai", or maybe it's the main respect and sincerity of "Lize Fengchang". Maybe it's nothing, but this Guanshan is like a cultural symbol and a monument, remembering Zhang Jun and Zhang Yan's father and son, as well as that period of deep and meaningful historical sorrow.

Come here today, the first thing that catches your eye is a majestic stele pavilion, the stele in the stele pavilion is the inscription of the Qing Tongzhi Emperor Imperial Gift, "the size of the civil and military ** stop here to get off", the back of the stele pavilion is a towering wooden bridge across the water, known as the Guanbu Bridge, a long bridge with the beauty of Chinese bridge construction. Many friends are puzzled, Zhang Jun and Zhang Yan father and son have walked through so many mountains and rivers, why did they choose the little-known Luodai Mountain?I thought that the understanding of the university scholar Tao Runai was closer to the psychology of the ancients. In that year, Tao traveled to Weishan, passed the long bridge, saw a dome monument standing on the side of the bridge, it was the poem of Nanxuan Gong crossing this bridge engraved in the stone, there was a sentence of "wandering in the past and the present, and appreciating the fishing wood", and sighed that "the father and son of the former Wei Dynasty did their best in state affairs, and were willing to die and be buried in Hengxiang, which is particularly awe-inspiring." Jun Gong is also a Buddhist family, and the famous Pei Xiu tomb leans on each other, creating the "Yuyun Mountain Hui" of this mountain, how fortunate Guanshan is!Today, the stone carvings of Hengchang Bridge are no longer visible, and the stele has been lost for many years, but fortunately, Mr. Chen Gujia, the old head of Yuelu Academy, found these two precious granite carvings from the pigsty of a farmer in Guanshan Village. It's just that there is a tall spire building in the original, and it has disappeared forever in the river of time. Touch the heavy dismount monument and step on the vermilion Guanbu Bridge, under which is the leisurely water, flowing day and night. Looking up, the west side is Bijia Mountain, Book Mountain, Pen Mountain, the east side is the Jiuzhilun that rushes from Dawei Mountain, and the opposite side is the official mountain that is shrouded in clouds and mist all the year round, Nanxuan Academy is on the shore of the mountain and the water, and the pink wall and tiles can be faintly seen, elegant and quiet. "Zhu Zhang will speak" The name moves the world, and the fragrance is green. Carefully reading the hot history of the three years of the main road, it seems that we can still hear Zhu Zhang's words and swords of "three days and nights and cannot meet", experience the lightning and flint of the collision of ideas, and see the grand occasion of "the crowd of horses and horses for a while, and the water in the pond dries up immediately", and we can also glimpse Zhu Zhang's brotherhood becoming deeper and deeper while his academic reasoning is becoming clearer and clearer. After speaking, Zhu Zi and Mr. Nanxuan came to Guanshan to worship Zhang Junxian and write down the Shinto monument. After Mr. Nan Xuan's untimely death, Zhu Zi wrote an inscription for Mr. and spared no effort to organize the anthology for Mr. Many years later, Zhu Zi ruled Tanzhou and came to Guanshan again to worship. What's even more rare is that Zhu Zi, who is also a thinker, not only admires Mr. Nanxuan's knowledge and insight, but also clearly admits that he and Mr. Nan Xuan have benefited a lot from traveling. "In the past, I hugged ice and charcoal, and I knew everything from you. The Nanxuan text of "Youyun" is very easy to make, and it is drafted on the leg when you taste it, and it will be done in an instant. "Read this to understand why Mr. Nan Xuan was able to leave more than two million words behind him. Reading Nanxuan's thoughts, its positive, its high, is obvious. The "ontology of sexuality" emphasizes the role of human beings, which was an extremely valuable idea at that time and even in modern times, and the "application of knowledge and action" and "mutual development of knowledge and action" derived from it are the source of the Hunan spirit.

Reading Nanxuan's poems, you can find an "unusual" Mr. Nanxuan. Those who have good deeds found that among the 571 poems of Mr., 87 involve wine, and there are 103 words for wine. "The yin cliff is cold and cracked in the snow, and the wild road is burning in spring. The pot is poured with turbid wine, and Tao Ran is absolutely better than the night hall cup". Mr. Nan Xuan loves wine, tea, lychee, green mountains, Miaoli, the scenery of the four seasons, the plum of Zhanggongling, and the fragrance of chrysanthemums in Tanzhou. I love to get together with friends, and I deeply support Yang Wanli, Zhang Xiaoxiang, Lu You, Zhou Bida, Xin Qiji, and other powerful circle of friends.
Follow Zhu Zi's footprints, pass by the academy and enter the main entrance of the academy. The academy is a traditional courtyard pattern, with the Nanxuan Ancestral Hall and the Wei State Ancestral Hall in the middle two entrances, the Huxiang cultural process exhibition on the left side, and the "Side Hall" on the right side. The Huxiang scholars of Yuelu Academy participated in the design and cultural excavation of the academy throughout the whole process, and each frame of design has a reason, which is a tribute to Mr. Nanxuan.

In the Nanxuan Temple, Mr. Xiaochang Military held a book in one hand, with a solemn expression in his sword sleeve, "There are many bitter words when you are worried, and you are more sad in nostalgia." "Mr. Nanxuan's sorrow and happiness have always been in the rise and fall of the country, and in the study and education. Although we have no way of knowing how Nanxuan Academy taught and what kind of students there were, we can know the general idea from Mr. Nanxuan's eight-year bishop Yuelu Academy. Mr. Wang's educational ideas are very avant-garde, advocating "achieving talents" and "preaching to help the people", not for profit. It is the inheritance of this educational philosophy that has influenced generations of Hunan scholars. Even though the companionship of teachers and students is short, Mr. Nan Xuan still inherited the philosophical thought of Huxiang Studies with his teacher Hu Hong as the core of sexuality, and carried it forward with Yuelu Academy as an academic base. The Huxiang spirit of "worrying about the world and daring to be the first" has influenced generations of Huxiang talents such as Wang Fuzhi, Tao Shu, Wei Yuan, Zuo Zongtang, Zeng Guofan, and Yang Changji, and it is these Hunan people who have influenced the historical process of modern China. Wandering beside the Nanxuan Temple, a group of elementary school students swarmed in, as if performing Confucian rituals. Looking at it carefully, it turned out that they were students who came to study, and they paid tribute to "Teacher Tai" in Nanxuan Academy, made pen ceremonies, and made rice paper, which was really a good measure and benefit of entertaining and teaching. Out of the Nanxuan Temple, turn left along the corridor, there are two into the house for the Huxiang culture exhibition, accidentally found that since Mr. Nanxuan Bishop Yuelu, in the 66 successive mountain chiefs, there are as many as 11 people in Ningxiang. Among them, Wang Wenqing, a university scholar, Yuan Mingyao, Cheng Songwan, Liu Zongxiang and other gentlemen who wrote "Only Chu has the material to flourish in Si" are natives of Ningxiang. It turns out that the password of "Ningxiang people can read" also contains "Ningxiang people can teach"!After watching the exhibition, I walked through Huaiguxuan and came to the Wei State Ancestral Hall. Zhang Jun, the Duke of Wei, went through the three dynasties of Song Qinzong, Gaozong, and Xiaozong, and became the general, and strongly advocated the anti-Jin Dynasty, and the famous anti-Jin generals Yue Fei and Han Shizhong were also under the command of the public. Wei Gong organized the Northern Expedition three times, deeply regretted that he could not restore the rivers and mountains, and left his last words not to return to the land of his ancestors. Duke Wei was squeezed out by Qin Hui because of the main battle, and his political fate was uncertain, and his loyalty made future generations infinitely admired. According to the summary of local figures in Ningxiang, there are many talents and no traitors, and they all believe that it is the Duke of Wei Xuangong who has set an example for Ningxiang for more than 800 years, and it is the origin of the traitors who did not produce traitors in Ningxiang. Bid farewell to the Duke of Wei (the Duke of Wei was named the 17th Emperor Wenchang after the Ming Dynasty), go out of the north gate, and meet a group of elated people. It turned out that Nanxuan Academy had a grand event - Yuelu Academy, Chengnan Academy, Biquan Academy and Nanxuan Academy were listed in cooperation. Mr. Nanxuan studied at Biquan Academy, founded Chengnan Academy and Nanxuan Academy, taught Yuelu Academy, trained a large number of scholars, and made the Huxiang School famous all over the world. After the listing of cooperation, Nanxuan Academy officially became the inheritance and education base of Yuelu Academy, and the teaching, research and practice base of Chengnan Academy and Biquan Academy. The three academies will regularly invite well-known scholars from all over the country to give lectures and seminars, inherit Huxiang culture, and carry forward the classics of Chinese culture. Chen Gujia, the former president of Yuelu Academy, will donate most of his book collection to build the Gujia Book House in Nanxuan Academy, continuing the spiritual context. Such a grand event, can not help but let us also rejoice, although it is early winter, and the temperature drops suddenly, "hand-cut thorn hazel to increase sigh, the eyes of spring full of three Xiang". In the cold wind, we sincerely paid homage to Nanxuan Academy, walked in the scenery of the academy, reflected with the mountains and rivers, the sound of wind and rain, and the sound of reading, writing the graceful encounter between history and reality.
