A linear bearing is a linear motion system used for linear travel in conjunction with a cylindrical shaft. It has the characteristics of high precision, low cost and low friction resistance, and is widely used in the sliding parts of industrial machinery such as precision machine tools, textile machinery, food packaging machinery, printing machinery, etc.

Tolerance class of linear bearings

The tolerance grade of linear bearings is also the accuracy grade, which is generally divided into X grades, and the tolerance grades are from low to high.

Each tolerance level of linear bearings has different requirements in size, rotation and appearance quality, the higher the level, the more stringent the requirements, the more perfect the performance of the product. The higher the product's **.

The existence of clearance in the linear bearing is to ensure that the linear bearing can operate flexibly and without hindrance, and at the same time, it is required to ensure the smooth operation of the linear bearing.

There is no direct relationship between the accuracy class of linear bearings and the clearance of linear bearings. The radial clearance of radial linear bearings is generally divided into C2, C0, C3, C4 and C5 groups. The value of the clearance ranges from small to large.

Theoretically speaking, each tolerance level of the linear bearing can choose each group of clearance, but the selection of the clearance group must be selected according to the specific working conditions, the temperature, load and the configuration of the linear bearing, etc., in order to achieve the accuracy function of the linear bearing.

For example, the clearance group of the product with a lower accuracy level can be larger, and the more high-precision the product, the smaller the clearance or even negative clearance.

Installation Notes:

1.Fit Clearance:Fit tolerances are used according to the bore of the housing and the diameter of the smooth shaft.

2.Mounting of the bearing housing:

Standard:Install the bearing housing with snap rings and fixing plates.

Flange type:When installing flanged linear bearings, the surface accuracy of the inner bore of the bearing housing matched with them must be accurate.

Adjustable type (small opening type): The opening on the bearing and the opening on the bearing housing are perpendicular to the circumferential direction to obtain a uniform preload in the circumferential direction.

Large opening type:If used in conjunction with a suitable housing, the large opening bearing can also be backlash adjusted, or the preload can be lightened.

When the linear bearing is pressed into the bearing seat and assembled, do not directly touch the end buckle ring and oil seal on the side of the outer cylinder, and use suitable tools, do not directly knock on the end face or sealing ring, and use the bearing to be evenly introduced, with a buffer plate, with the help of gentle knocking loading.

4.Use a suitable, accurate installation tool:Try to use special tools and try to avoid things like cloth and staple fibers.

5.Keep the bearing and its surroundings cleanSodium-based grease is generally used in motor bearings, and even if invisible smile dust enters the bearing, it will increase bearing wear, vibration and noise.
