Case 1
The Xiangcheng District Market Supervision Bureau investigated and dealt with the case of the Chengwang Hairy Crab Business Department in Xiangcheng District, Suzhou City, using other crabs to pretend to be Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs to defraud consumers
During the daily inspection of the Xiangcheng District Market Supervision Bureau, it was found that the Chengwang Hairy Crab Business Department of Xiangcheng District, Suzhou City, put other hairy crabs into a packaging box containing the words "Yangcheng Lake Hairy Crab", pretending to be Yangcheng Lake hairy crab sales to defraud consumers.
The above-mentioned acts of the parties violated the provisions of Article 24 of the Regulations of Jiangsu Province on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests. On November 15, 2023, in accordance with Article 28 of the Administrative Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China, Article 56 of the Consumer Rights and Interests Protection of the People's Republic of China, and Article 63 of the Regulations of Jiangsu Province on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests, the Xiangcheng District Market Supervision Bureau ordered the parties to correct the illegal acts, and imposed an administrative penalty of confiscation of 3,575 yuan of illegal gains and a fine of 17,875 yuan.
Case 2
The Market Supervision Bureau of Xiangcheng District investigated and dealt with the case of Suzhou Yangguang Ecological Agriculture Publishing False Advertisements and Defrauding Consumers with Other Crabs Pretending to be Yangcheng Lake Hairy Crabs
During the daily inspection of the Xiangcheng District Market Supervision Bureau, it was found that the business premises of Suzhou Yangguang Ecological Agriculture were posted with "China 315 Honest Enterprises" and "China's Green Environmental Protection Products" and other customized false honorary plaques, and other crabs pretending to be Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs to defraud consumers.
The above-mentioned acts of the parties violated Article 28 of the Advertising Law of the People's Republic of China and Article 24 of the Regulations of Jiangsu Province on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests. On November 15, 2023, the Xiangcheng District Market Supervision Bureau imposed an administrative penalty of confiscation of 4,980 yuan of illegal gains and a fine of 44,900 yuan in accordance with Articles 28 and 32 of the Administrative Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China, Article 55 of the Advertising Law of the People's Republic of China, Article 56 of the Consumer Rights and Interests Protection of the People's Republic of China, and Article 63 of the Regulations of Jiangsu Province on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests.
Case 3
The Kunshan Municipal Market Supervision Bureau investigated and dealt with the case of false propaganda and shortages of hairy crabs sold by Kunshan famous tribe e-commerce
According to the report, the Kunshan Municipal Market Supervision Bureau carried out an on-site inspection of the e-commerce of Kunshan famous tribes. After investigation, the parties used other crabs on the Taobao platform to sell them as hairy crabs in Yangcheng Lake, and none of the hairy crabs sold met the declared specifications.
The above-mentioned acts of the parties violated Article 6 of the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People's Republic of China and Article 5 of the Measures for Punishment of Infringement of Consumer Rights and Interests. On November 24, 2023, the Kunshan Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, in accordance with Article 18 of the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People's Republic of China, Article 56 of the Consumer Rights and Interests Protection of the People's Republic of China, and Article 14 of the Measures for Punishment of Infringement of Consumer Rights and Interests, ordered the parties to correct the illegal acts and imposed an administrative penalty of a fine of 10,000 yuan.
