The future of e-mobility depends on innovative charging solutions. Here, we'll look at five key approaches to charging pile product design that not only improve charging efficiency, but also enhance the user experience. Next, we will share three cases of charging piles designed by the Nanmu design team to show the practical application of key elements of the design.
Smart connectivityThrough the interactive screen and app, users can remotely monitor the charging progress and achieve intelligent operation.
Eco-friendly materials: Use ** or biodegradable materials to reduce environmental impact and improve product sustainability.
Modular design: It is easy to expand and upgrade, and can be flexibly adjusted according to different scenarios and needs to improve the flexibility of use.
Beautiful and functional: Taking into account the appearance design and functionality, the charging pile is both beautiful and practical, and in harmony with the environment.
Safe and easy to maintain: Pay attention to the safety of users and equipment, and design a structure that is convenient for daily maintenance and rapid upgrade.
Design Case 1:
Whale charging AC charging pileThe design of this charging pile is inspired by whales, which is reflected in its tough hexagonal outer contour, which simulates the lines of a whale's body. The design of the lower part of the shell imitates the lower jaw of a whale**, which enhances the sense of science and technology of the product and is closely connected with the theme of "whale". The front is decorated with panoramic atmosphere breathing lamps, using blue-gray metallic tones, which not only give the product a sense of mystery to the sea creatures, but also reflect a calm and high-end temperament. This design combines the design principles of aesthetically pleasing and eco-friendly materials, while focusing on user interaction.
Design case 2:
Design of public DC charging piles: It is essential for brands to have a complete product identification (PI) system in place. Our series of solutions is designed to form a uniform and recognizable charging station design. While maintaining their unique features and design, these chargers share a consistent visual element and brand philosophy to ensure brand consistency and recognition in the market. Each charger embodies five key design approaches: smart interaction, sustainable material use, modularity and scalability, minimalist and aesthetic design, and safety and ease of maintenance, to provide users with a consistent and high-quality charging experience.
Design case 3
Dual-charging pile: This charging pile can support charging of two charging cables at the same time, which greatly improves the charging efficiency. It has a maximum charging power of 166 kilowatts, and can provide a range of 230 kilometers in 15 minutes, with 30%-80% charging time in just 30 minutes. This design perfectly solves the problem of battery life anxiety of pure electric vehicle users on long-distance travel. It embodies the advantages of modular design, and also emphasizes the safety and convenience of charging for users.
These design case studies demonstrate Nanmu Design's vision for the future of EV charging infrastructure. We believe that by using these innovative design elements, Nanmu Design will not only provide users with a better charging experience, but also promote the sustainable development of the electric vehicle industry."
